I Wish... LO for Use Your Stuff Challenge

Hello and welcome :) It's a new week and last week of the month! Where the heck did January go. Lets start out this week with Use Your Stuff challenge blog. Karrie is our hostess this week and she has challenged us to use our Enamel Dots. I mainly just use them for scattering on my layout for that finishing touch :)
Still working with the photos I printed from our day at Knobel's in August. I was able to use these pictures for a LOAD1018 day 20 Show of the Day: Into the Woods (1987)
If I had more time I would have printed out the pictures from the play our local Co-op did for this play. The prompt for the day was Wishing as they characters kept wishing too so I used this for my title and I also drew upon the other prompt of the day being a scrapbook sketch challenge for inspiration. Sketch can be seen here www.pinterest.com/pin/11610911524793907/ Used last month's counterfeit kit: Falling For You for the layout I pulled from one paper pad I bought for the cut apart words for the layouts and the background paper :)

Using enamel dots in various colors around the layout
My journaling and very fast easy layout :) which I try to do for LOAD. Thank you for stopping by today and I look forward to seeing your creation for this fun challenge over at Use Your Stuff challenge blog

Work In Progress - #431 Lasting Memories Scrapbook Challenge

Good Morning and welcome to this fun challenge over at Lasting Memories Scrapbook challenge. For January our theme has been - This or That - and we have been working on using up some of our neglected supplies. Our last challenge  this month is:

LM #431 - AlphasUse at least 2 different types/fonts of alphas on your layout - this can be 2 different fonts, a large alpha combined with a smaller alpha, etc.

This was a fun layout about some of the organizing I have done in my craftroom and it seems that it's always a work in progress.  This is one shelf in my craftroom  that I received a few years ago. Since then I have already rearranged it by moving it in another location. Will also be rearranging what I have on the shelves too and adding my stamping supplies & mixed media supplies to it. It seems like my craftroom is always at a work in progress as I'm always rearranging things in it trying to make it better.
I used my October Counterfeit Kit: Tainted Love for this layout.
This layout came about from LOAD 1018 Day 13 prompt Show of the Day: Hello, Dolly! (1964)
Are you a person that arranges things? Are you around others that like to arrange things for you? or Use a scrapbook sketch for your inspiration (I used a Sketch in Thyme from October)

Thank you for stopping by today and I look forward to seeing your creation for this fun challenge :) and wish you well on winning this month.

Merry Christmas Tree card for Funday Friday challenge

Hi you all! Been very busy around the house and around the scraproom, with work getting in the way too! So sorry about it being so quiet around here but next month should be a bit noisier :)
Welcome back to the Funday Friday challenge over at Jo's Scrap Shack. We are super excited to start another year full of challenges, giveaways and lots of inspiration! The theme is Anything Goes. Our sponsor this week is Bugaboo this is what I created with the digi stamp I received for this challenge :)
This is such a fun digi stamp: Merry Christmas Tree
I did a simple card cause I wanted that digi stamp to have the full attention it deserved.
I added sparkle to the stamp using stickles, star sequins and some stickles around those. (Why the stickles around the sequin stars I tried a new glue: Scotch Create Super Glue liquid with a brush. Found that I should have just brushed the sequin itself cause where I brushed the glue on the cardstock it left a residue mark that I didn't want so the stickles was used to hide those marks :)
Thank you for stopping by today and I look forward to seeing your creations for this fun challenge :)

Silly Pup LO for Use Your Stuff challenge

Hello and welcome :) It's a new week and more challenges to come this week. Lets start out this week with Use Your Stuff challenge blog. Mayo is our hostess this week and she has challenged us to a Furry Friends challenge :) easy enough for me as I'm blessed with a furry pooch in the family. So now to choose a layout.
I decided to feature the layout I create during LOAD1018 Day 26: Show of the Day: Hairspray (2002) The challenge was to show off your hairstyle photos and stories or Freshen up your layout with a white background and and some bright letters like the Hairspray playbill.
I think I'm on prompt :) if were talking of hair :) Used the variety title for my layout and a fun page about our Silly Pup :) Used another layout from Janet's 4for4series (fall series) and my counterfeit kit for Sept 2018: Falling For You and some theme products too.
I did the bright variety of letters for my title, staying within the LOAD prompt
But feel that brushing Buddy's hair is right in prompt too as we're talking about Hair for the play Hairspray :)
Close up of my journaling for the layout. Had fun using a variety of bits and pieces on this layout too. Thank you for stopping by today and I look forward to seeing what you create for this fun challenge this week :)

This month's double page sketch challenge:
This is what I created with Lauren's cute sketch:
Cool way to add 8 photos to the layout and to use up some pattern papers too :) I used a bottom border for the layout instead of the tags (this is what happens when you run out of time before the layout is due :) Oh my but there are some really cute inspiration of this use of tags from my DT sisters over at Stick It Down
The left side of the layout:
2 of the photos and my title with a hashtag that the daughter-in-law said on the facebook post I was surprised that I had a sticker that said the same thing :) plus my journaling :)
 Close up photos
The Right side of the layout:
Dad teaching AJ how to drive the wheelhorse :) Grandpap teaching Isabelle how to drive the wheelhorse. Lots of special moments on this layout. It was great that the kids had fun with one of the tractors, would love to see them have more fun with the larger tractors too. They were also enjoying the fire pit that day too :)
 Grandpap teaching Isabelle
 Close ups
It was a good day last year and good that we got together like this :) Also great to see another perspective when photos are taken of the event. Thank you for stopping by and I look forward to seeing your creation of this fun sketch over at Stick It Down.

Best of Friends LO for Lasting Memories challenge

If you are looking for the post for the Mini Kit for Counterfeit Kit Challenge blog you can find the post keep scrolling down.

Hello and welcome to a New Year of challenges over at Lasting Memories Scrapbook Challenge blog :) In January we will work on using up some of our supplies in our stash that maybe we have - dare I say it - a little too much of - OR items that are being neglected. Today's challenge is Bling, Buttons, Brads, Sequins or Enamel Dotschoose one or more of the items listed and use on your layout.
I chose Bling as in Gems something I don't use much anymore on layouts for some odd reason :) But I got lots of so need to atleast get them used up :)
This was from a LOAD1018 Day 24 prompt: Show of the Day: Rent (1996)
Rent showcases a group of friends. Do you have a group of friends that were/are a support you to you? Have you had any adventures with them? OR Create a title in a bold font, using stickers, rub-ons, computer, handwriting or whatever you choose :)

Went with the Friends aspect of the prompt. Friends together for a meal :) Used my counterfeit kit from September: Falling For You and Janet from RTS Scrapbooking 4for4 series a super fun series that gets you scrapping fast from 4 pieces of pattern papers :) I used the gems from that kit on the layout to give it a little bling :) a nice touch with those leaves keeping within the fall theme of the paper too.
We look forward to seeing what you create from this challenge and getting into your stash using it as we create :)

January Mini Kit Reveal for Counterfeit Kit Challenge Blog

Good Morning and welcome :) Today I'm showing a different way to create a kit and use it at the same time. A bit out of my comfort zone for this challenge, I knew that the Mini Kit challenge over at Counterfeit Kit Challenge blog would be perfect for me this month. With not alot of time to scrap but wanting to create some this month this is a good way to do it :) The smaller kit will give me enough to make 2 - 3 layouts which is great scrapping in one sitting over a weekend.

Our inspiration kit this month is the Hannah October 2018 kit from Felicity Jane, you can find an unboxing kit here.
and this is what I gathered for my kit:

I grabbed some papers from a couple of paper pads pulling for DCWV The Primrose and yes the brown dotted paper came from the Happy Fall paper pad plus 3 6x6 paper and a scrap border paper to make my mini kit:
Some tickets, die cuts and puffy stickers from Dear Lizzy Lovely Day collection

3 different alphas ( I like choices when I'm scrappin' :) Some enamel hearts, a tassel bow I made in Nov 2018 kit and I thought I may be able to use that pink ribbon with the spots.
For my project I created this layout:
Layers of fun on this layout and even got my inner Shimelle on and inked the paper edges. The teals and pinks of the kit went perfect with the girls pajamas.
I used a sketch over at the facebook group Bash Your Scrapbook Stash for inspiration for the layout
Image may contain: text
Using a variety of elements to make a cluster for the smaller photo.
The tickets were a fun touch to this fun layout as was the word art too.

The title worked out pretty good using a variety of different fonts and sizes to.
Aren't they just the cutest :) well I'm a little bias too :) and then I think all the Great-Grandgirls are cute in the family.
Thanks for stopping by today and if you just don't want to make a large kit this month, then maybe a mini kit will work out for you instead :) Make sure whatever you do that you let us see what kit your building and creating with over at Counterfeit Kit Challenge blog.

Happy Holidays card for Sketch N Scrap #137

Good Morning and Happy 2019 to you all! I hope you all had a great holiday, we we're busy either hosting or visiting family :) It's good to get together and we need to do it more often. As my crafting table is still filled with Christmas crafting supplies it was easy enough to create a Christmas card. Heather Hall provided us with this fun sketch over at Sketch N Scrap:
No photo description available.
The card I created using this sketch:
Great way to use up some scraps that I had on the scrap desk and that cute tag well that is a boughten gift tag that I used my tag punch on for the top and used some gold sparkly ribbon too :)
Closer look at the tag part of the card. Thank you for stopping by today and over the weekend I'll catch you up on some goals I making for 2019.
