I was so excited to see this kit and I was not disappointed. Counterfeit Kit Challenge has 2 fantastic kit choices and also a Project Life add on, whoop! I made my kit from this inspirational kit:
So my main choice was kit #2 because of all the colors, but may dig into kit #1 if I finish off kit #2 and I chose to include the Project Life kit also, will be in a later post.So looking at kit #2 I see pastel colors, doilies, hearts, polka dots, chevrons, stripes, triangles. I see red, pink, blue, yellow gold, gray. wood color and naturals. I have a tendency to do 2 page layouts so I just might pick 2 of a certain style paper if I think I'll use it for a background other than that I want to try to stay to the kit, except for die-cuts from my machines and cardstock needed for that. With being able to use white, black, kraft and solid color cardstocks to match some colors in the paper patterns if needed for background pages. So here is my kit called Lovely and Kind
So I started with the past 2 kit's leftovers to see if any were close to the kit and kept for this kit before I put them away.

I also will use tools within my collection that includes punches and embossing folders if the needs arise (especially for card making). I plan to use my embossing powders this month and would like to give perfect pearls a try too.
That's it, that's my kit Lovely and Kind. The 2-page smashbook layout that was posted yesterday is from the kit and I also have a planned 2-page layout from the November kit that I just haven't had time to do yet. I have a couple of other layouts I want to do that are a totally different theme than this so you will see other layouts that may only have an element or 2 from the kit. I also have a crop at the end of the month and that maybe when I pull in that kit #1 and forge that just ave to wait and see on that one.
Thanks for stopping by today to see what I'm up to in my little corner of the world, check out Counterfeit Kit Challenge Blog you just may like to forge a kit f your own to use.
Love your stamp selection. You are brave using recent kit left-overs to seed a new one ... I often find that the same papers languish in kits because I simply just won't use them ... they eventually go into my charity pile!
ReplyDeleteLovely & Kind looks like it's chock full of goodness though so I'm sure you'll have no trouble creating with it. Have fun!
Love the name! You have so many pretty goodies to play with this month - enjoy!
ReplyDeleteGreat kit, Tina. Looks like you are going to be super busy with all three kits going. Can't wait to see what you come up with - especially the Project life!
