Love and Sympathy

Hi you all and welcome to my blog, today I'm the designer over at Card A Day Blog and the theme this week is sympathy cards. I had two friends this past week lose their fathers so it's nice to have these card on hand so they can be sent out as soon as possible, to give some comfort.
I liked these 5 pattern papers for the cards and decide to do half in one set and the other half in another set. I made these cards for 2 different swaps, so easy to put together. I used SU 2.5" circle punch for the stamped sentiment and all the cards got this same pattern paper. I also used the white cards stock for the base for the stamped flower ad used my fiscars lac edge corner punch. I used CTMH Juniper ink for the stamping and the stamp set was from SU-Love & Sympathy.
The inside I used that same stamp set, also the same paper from the front I only switched up the patterns on the inside the smaller strip is the same as the larger background in the front
and the the large background is the same as the smaller strip in the front. I thought it would be a nice touch that way. Another of the white cardstock with the sentiment in the same ink and punched the same way.
So when thinkig of doing a sympathy card it doesn't have to be elobrate just a note to let them know that your there for them :)
Thanks for stopping by today and tomorrow not quite sure what will be posted, you'll just have to come back and see :) Have a Fantastic Day....

  1. Your sympathy cards are beautiful Tina. They are always hard to make and I'm sorry you had to make some. I just found out today that I need to make one myself. I have this stamp set too and I use it a lot for sympathy cards. Hugs
