Happy 4th of July and a Funday Friday Challenge too

Happy 4th of July to you all and thank you to the service men and women that have fought for our freedoms. I have plans with my family today and I hope you all do too. I made this cute card for my Grandson AJ's birthday yesterday, he's such a little firecracker, so I went though my stash of stamps for this card and found this CTMH stamp that was perfect for a card for him. The card base is white cardstock with a layer of red cardstock that was dry embossed with a cuttlebug Stars folder, perfect for a patriotic card or a star birthday card.I went with a layer of blue, red and the white cardstock printed the firecracker in blue ink, the stars in read and burst in yellow all SU inks (no favorites here :) and I popped it up with 1/8" foam. The sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes (SU) and CTMH Holiday Red, punched out with SU scallop oval punch and popped that up on one thickness of the green foam tape.

 The inside I used that extra 6 X 6 black with the glitter stars paper from last month's counterfeit kit, cut down to fit the card for the background and a printed out white card stock for the sentiment.
