2014 Egg Hunt

Hi you all :) Today I have a layout I did using a sketch from My Scraps and More

and the sketch:

This was also made using a challenge of a class I'm taking using your favorite colors. Mine are purple and gold but used the 3 spot on the color wheel with the addition of the blue. Thought the colors were perfect for this year's annual Easter egg hunt.

 I used my current Counterfeit kit, I can say that having the monthly kit is a big saver for me for time, everything is all decided for materials for making the layout, all I have to do is find a sketch and the pictures I want to use. Makes it easy to get layouts done on the weekend

 I added the washi tape to make a border between the 2 pictures

 The egg sticker and the purple heart sticker came for crate paper Phrases pack the rest of the embellishments came from my current kit

 This is gonna make a nice 1st page to a 2 page layout with the other side being grid form to show off pictures of the day.

The 2014 is chipboard that I painted with distress crackle paint to get the right color to match. the border strip of eggs came with a bunch I received in a swap awhile back glad to finally use some of it.
