Hello you all :) and welcome to this month's blog hop from Counterfeit Kit Challenge. I can't believe we are almost at the end of the month and I got lots of May's kit to work with yet.
You should have come to my blog by way of the amazing Susan and her flicker page.
The 3 challenges this month are:
Challenge #1: Roll The Dice: Bethany
rolled the dice back in 2012 and chose a challenge to make a
fashion inspired card
Challenge #2: Back To School: School supplies, school photos, school
memories ... you choose.
Challenge #3: No Photo Challenge: Forget the photos on your layout!
And there were a whole host of NSD Challenges to join in
with as well!
I chose one from their NSD challenges. I did the very first challenge: Mojo Inspiration I followed along with Wilma's video and did a layout based on how she was doing her layout and it was really a fun process to do :)
So my layout is also based on yesterday's LOAD prompt too Liner Notes: To DIE For: The album liner was to DIE for, filled with more pictures and details
about our teenage heartthrobs. Use a DIE cut to give your page the feel
of an album liner, since we all know the album liners are the scrapbooks
of our record albums. It's really ironic how the layout fits this prompt so well too.
Wilma's video had you start off with 9 project life cards cut to 3X3 size and then she worked on each one
showing it's own story. I used my present kit and parts of past kits for the embellishing of the cards
This is the one die cut I wanted to use for the layout and the picture. The rest of the layout was based around what I learned from her video.
I found this one picture in the box and it was fun to make the layout around the picture and that die cut next to the picture. Thanks for stopping by today and enjoy the rest of the blog hop. Off you go and check out what Mater Forger Leslie is doing today for her challenge. I hope you come and join us for June's kit reveal on the 1st of June and play along with us :)
This really looks like it was a fun page to make with all the project life cards being a project in themselves. So many great little pieces came together to tell a great story. And, I love the photograph,..it looks like a wonderful glimpse into a special time. Great page!
ReplyDeleteI really love grid pages and treating each spot as it's own sort of mini-layout. You've got lots of wonderful details that add up to the story of the day - fun picture too!
ReplyDeleteGreat design, love how you embellished each part!
ReplyDeleteThis is a really cool layout Tina! That sounds like a great video to watch too, I am really loving how you did this. The cards are so neat and I love that they all have your special touch on them. And the pic, I love the pic because it shows the kids gathered around having a great time with their pap! Hugs, Brenda
ReplyDeleteOh I love seeing how you've incorporated all those cards into an interesting eye-catching collection. Well done you!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea for a layout! I love your photo and cards.
ReplyDeleteWell done for taking the Wilna challenge! Great job. You've really gone to town with each of those little cards and the overall result is great. thanks for taking the challenge
ReplyDeleteI like this layout - it's a great loose interpretation of a PL layout (which you know I love!) Happy Memorial Day!!
ReplyDeleteClapping my hands - so glad my iNSD prompt inspired you! :-)
