Fair Fun Layout

Hello :) This month is a LOAD month plus I was doing a 10 day challenge on Facebook so lots of crafty projects have been created. So I best start posting, hmmmm especially since I have done some with sketch challenges from around the blog world this month. Today's post is a layout I did yesterday for LOAD 12: Pirate Ship. Out of the the 3 things they gave us for the prompt I went with transportation and to use nautical on it. Well I'm thinking the woodgrain paper is close to what you would see on a Pirate Ship and the ride is a bit of transportation to get you here and there during the ride:
I used the single page sketch over at Stick It Down:

When I came across these photos for the day's layout I knew which sketch I was going to use, this one seemed to stick in my brain well this month. Maybe cause it was so different than what I usually see for a challenge sketch. It was a great sketch to work with though :)
I used my current counterfeit kit, a paper from last month's master forger kit and a kit I made this weekend for LOAD (Gold kit). So lots of the gold embellishments are from the newer kit with a couple from this month's kit too. My journaling card came from a SNAP pack of cards. That fun little pair of faces I cut from the October Afternoon Midway collection sheet, popped it up with foam dots for a fun accent in-between the words.
These fun pictures I printed in 2X2 so it was the perfect size for this sketch :) I have another batch from another ride that day and just may use this same style sketch just flip to have an adjoining page in the album.
Lots of glitter on the layout like the lights on the ride. Stars and hearts to finish out the layout. I just love this sketch and may have to keep in my arsenal of favorites to use. Thanks for stopping by today to see what I'm up to in my little corner of the world.........
