Classic Weekend

This is LOAD Day 10 the theme is Culture and the prompt is recreation and the recreation that we do most of the summer is attending various tractor shows. This is first of many pages of this show it was a packed full show for 3 days:

The name of the show is Classic Weekend it's in July in Alum Bank, PA. There is a car show, a cruise in (Dave loved that), parade, tractor pulls, tractor games, even carnival rides and fireworks quite the weekend.
I used Sketch #470 over at Scrapbook Challenges

 A fun sketch to use for the beginning layout of a series of layouts from one event. Love that I was able to add those fun film strips for and embellishment cluster on the layout.

 I used the film strips for my journaling :) The film strips also worked for a challenge over at SNC

 I used a strip of cameras for the bottom border. The picture on the left was the parade getting lined up :) this parade went throught the main street in town it was pretty cool to watch. The right picture is my husband on the left and a friend of ours on the right doing the slow race which you can see by the line my husband didn't win.

The last photo is a line up of some of the tractors that were at the show.Loved using the PL cards peaking out the tops of the photos for some layering. I used my Brighter Year Ahead counterfeit kit for this layout.
