This week we are creating with inspiration from Snakes and Ladders
A fun layout of one of our everyday happenings in January of this year :) 6 months later gotta it scrapped :) I had big plans for my last day of work off from the holiday to scrap the day away :) But that did not happen, my husband enlisted me into helping him with cleaning up the Brussels Sprouts that he had harvested out oof the garden. With the weather being so warm over the past few months prior to this we didn't have the freeze that Dave waits on till he harvested them (his secret for the good taste and not the bitter taste).
I used the current week's sketch over at Let's Get Sketchy for my layout:
I thought that border strip was a perfect place to add those squares, I used from my current counterfeit kit Just Chillin' the 6X6 paper pad had the fun squares to use. Also the background paper is perfect for the Whimsical Musings Challenge #30 - Inspired by geometrics into your scrapping in some way - paper, design, technique etc.(so many different shapes involved in this layout :)
My journaling came from an email from that day that I had sent to Scrappin N Chattin yahoo group, it was cool to look back and find that email and I had all that detail story
A close up off the pictures. Thank you for stopping by today and I hope to see your creation soon linked up at Lasting Memories :) I will pick the winner of the prize for the blog hop later today in another post :)
