Authentic Vintage Items for a Lasting Memories Scrapbook layout challenge

Hello and happy Sunday to you :) Quick stop in today to show you the layout I created for this week's challenge over at Lasting Memories Scrapbook Layout Challenge. Our theme for February is Black + White + one other color. This week's challenge color is green! So I went through my counterfeit kit: Springtime Fresh and pulled out the black N white papers and the green too and got a few to work for my grid layout:
This layout came about from inspiration from the current LOAD event LOAD219 Day 9 prompt: Glinda the Good Witch: Story: Scrap a story about something good. Technique: Make your layout pink and sparkly.... or don't, whatever you think is good. And I think this is a good way to do a masculine layout :)
The grandson doing some good helping out at the NCC8 artifact fair for some community service hours for a merit badge.
My counterfeit kit had some fun vintage style papers in it using a light green, black n white polka dot and the green dusting newspaper print for my blocks and I used a green background came up a bit darker and of a grayer color in the photo than what it looks like in real life. Used some black mulberry paper to mat the photos and punched a few hearts and stars to scatter about the layout. Added that bright green ribbon for more texture on the layout :)
Thank you for stopping by today and I look forward to seeing your creation for this fun challenge over at Lasting Memories Scrapbook Layout Challenge.

  1. Wow, loving this layout Tina! Well, love the prompt that inspired this layout. Love that your grandson is doing good and earning a badge as well. Great papers for this masculine layout. I think someone is looking very handsome in his uniform! Hope you didn't get to much snow and ice, stay warm! Hugs, Brenda
