Merry Christmas Snowflakes card for a Sketch N Scrap challenge

Good morning and welcome to the 1st card sketch of the month over at Sketch N Scrap challenge blog. I love this card sketch! This card sketch from Heather, here's the sketch:

This is the card I created using the sketch:

Using a blue tone on tone snowflake paper I added the sparkle of the dazzles from Paper Wishes for this lovely card. My goal is to play with the old stash as well as my newer stash and this is stuff I got from 2012 so this Christmas season you'll see the dazzles on some of my creations :)

Thanks for stopping by today to see what I created and can't wait to see what you create from this cool sketch over at Sketch N Scrap blog.

CKC Advent Calendar Kit

 Good Morning! I want to let you know about this fun thing we are doing this month in the process of making a kit for December, a daily kit over at Counterfeit Kit Challenge

I'm planning to play along and hopefully post here daily too. Today is basically the details of what we are doing and if you want to play along then the you'll find all the info over at Counterfeit Kit Challenge blog

Counterfeit Kit Challenge is all about shopping our own stash & creating a personally curated kit.

Today is the beginning of “the most wonderful time of the year” but that often means our crafty time gets pushed aside. The LAST thing you need is another item on your To-Do list, BUT we still need a little craftiness in our days – and we’re here to help. How about working on a holiday gift to yourself?

We will have a quick daily prompt to hunt & gather a box of goodies for Christmas by spending 1-5 minutes each day tossing a prescribed item into a kit box for a project of your choosing to be tackled in January, or even between Christmas & New Year’s Eve! Easy-peasy.

It's A Dog's Life LO for a Sketch N Scrap challenge

 Good Morning and welcome :) Wow are we really into December! 2021 just flew by and I think this month is going to also. Now on to the Sketch N Scrap challenge for the day. A wonderful sketch from Heather to play with today.

This is the layout I created with it

That background paper that looks like hair I think fits well for Buddy's hair coloring and it came from my 100 Pattern Paper Pile 2021 challenge :) a good handful yet to use up before the months out :) The rest of the papers for the layout came from my Dog theme drawer :) I love the addition of the pocket card next to the photo. Thanks for stopping by today to see what I created and can't wait to see what you create from this cool sketch over at Sketch N Scrap blog.

Simple Pleasures LO for Counterfeit Kit Challenge

Good Morning and welcome :) The days are just flying by this month! This month the weather has been cool, sometimes down right cold and windy too. Most of the leaves are off the trees now and you can tell mother nature is ready for winter.

Today is the 2nd challenge over at Counterfeit Kit Challenge blog and our month's host Lisa has challenged us:

Celebrate Your Kit!

In my celebratory month, I decided it was time to just have some fun. Take out the absolute favourite items from your kit and turn them into a layout that you love.

Don't double think your choices - if it sparks joy (pun intended), then it deserves a place on your page.

Record a story that is full of joy and celebration and match it up with a photo that makes your heart sing.

What could be better as a celebration of this wonderful hobby of ours?

Here is what I created from this challenge

Love the idea of not over thinking this out it made for a faster layout. From my Falling Leaves kit:  I love plaids so I grabbed that, I love Pinkfresh Studios products so I grabbed those and found some fun ribbon to add along :) Loving the fall collection from Pinkfresh Studios for this layout as the cozy home feel is perfect for a layout about reading another thing that brings me joy :)

 Thank you for stopping by today and seeing what I'm up to in my little corner of the world. I hope you join us over at Counterfeit Kit Challenge blog for this fun challenge.

I used my current counterfeit kit: Falling Leaves for the layout the background paper from Stampin Up is perfect for Fall pictures and with added leaves scattered about and some glitter glue spots made for a fun layout to put together. CKC - November 2021 Kit Reveal - Falling Leaves

 Good Morning :) How can we be in November already! This year is going by so fast..... Just think next month is Christmas, eek! this girl is not ready for that. But this girl is ready to scrap all the adventures she has had thus far in 2021. First you should have arrived here from Misty's blog  I'm excited to see what she has put together this month.

Lisa is our host this month and this is what she said about her choice:  I wanted something seasonal - I even considered going festive - and looked around for a kit club we haven't used for a while with warm, cosy autumnal kits to choose from. I was really happy to find exactly what I was looking for over at Felicity Jane. Their September 2021, Emily kit has the most gorgeous palette of colours and the kit seems to be full of the most lovely bits and pieces to form a wonderful selection of scrapbooking scrumptiousness. It shouts short days with blue skies and sunshine; the first really bitterly cold morning with heavy frost and mist on the fields; of setting down on the sofa with a new TV show to binge watch while wrapped up in a blanket; of the calm before the storm of December and Christmas!

Felicity Jane September 2021 - Emily

Detailed photos of all the kit elements can be found at Felicity Jane here

Welcome to Suzanne for joining us this month as our guest forger and she says
I launched a new scrapbook blog adventure at Susanne Stamps and Scraps, along with starting my You-Tube channel.

I hope you will check out both.

Here is the kit I put together:

Falling Leaves

Here are the papers:
My choices came about from the fell of the inspirational kit by bring in the colors and similiar patterns. Lots of neutrals in this kit besides the Fall patterns should be fantastic to scrap my Fall pictures and more.
Here are some close ups of the kit:

Spring Has Sprung LO for CKC challenge

Good Morning and welcome to the 1st challenge over at Counterfeit Kit Challenge blog and our month's host is Tracey

Tracey has challenged us with:

The first challenge of the month is something a little different...... we want to challenge you to create a layout with your kit and a title of our choice! Simply pick a title from this list and use it as your inspiration:
* Let's Go
* Destination Unknown
* The Journey is the Destination
* Life isn't always Rainbows and Unicorns
* Spring has Sprung
* You Colour My World
* You've Come so Far
* Perfectly Imperfect
* Ordinary Moments
A great title on your layout can help to make a story great or it can tell a story on it's own.

I used Spring Has Sprung as my title for this layout

 My kit Simply Delightful was perfect with it's Spring theme to do a Spring flower/blossom layout.
I used a sketch over at Paper Issues to help me create my layout.

Thank you for stopping by today and seeing what I'm up to in my little corner of the world. I hope you join us over at Counterfeit Kit Challenge blog for this fun challenge.

CKC - October 2021 Kit Reveal - Simply Delightful

 Good Morning, Wow Wow Wow we're in October! Where the heck did September go! The end of the harvest season begins around the Campbell house time to get everything canned up, freezed up or put in the cellar for the winter. But even with this hectic schedule I still try to fit time in to scrap. First you should have arrived here from Misty's blog  I'm excited to see what she has put together this month. so with that said lets' look at what our Hostess Tracey has decide will be our inspiration this month:

The Kit I have picked for October is the May Hip Kit Club kit - it is full of beautiful bright spring colours. There are tags, labels, stickers and fun ephemera die cuts that are all singing out to be forged and scrapped.

May Main Hip Kit Club

In Tracey's area of the world they are heading into Spring as we are heading into Fall, as I'm a lover of Spring I had an easy time pulling my kit together from this Inspiration especially since I had the Pinkfresh Studio Keeping it Real collection. Welcome to our Guest Forger this month Machelle Welling.

Here is the kit I put together:

 Simply Delightful

From what I pulled from the inspiration: Colors: Pinks, Teals, Yellow, Salmon/Coral, Purple. Map, Florals, Butterflies, Dots and Swirls, Checks, Bold Stripes, and lots of Words. Checked all those off well with this kit :) I've found rummaging through my paper pads that I do like butterflies as I have lots of paper with them so a few choices there in the kit.

My choice of papers for this month and with it being a LOAD month should not have a problem getting through this kit :)

I pulled in the Keeping it Real embellishments as well as some CTMH sticker sheets, Lots of stickers: Cardstock, Foil, sticker book. Puffies and Word stickers. Die cuts, Sequins and Enamel dots too. Plenty of things to choose from for my pages

Some words and Alphas to help with titling my layouts :)
I'm excited to dig in and get playing with this kit, but first I need to see what the other girls have pulled together and a good place to start is over at Tracey's blog  I'm excited to see how the inspiration moved her for her kit :) and if you get lost here is the full list

5 Star Meal LO

I was having fun with my current counterfeit kit: Great Outdoors and with this fun sketch from Sketch N Scrap

I made this layout of us out and about Jan. 18 of this year. Stopping for a break to get a bit to eat :)

Stopping at one of our favorite restaurants in Shamokin Dam. I will normally get the same meal as I love it so much :) Dave always changes it up each time we go :) I had fun pulling different elements from my kit and the stars are what is left of a cut file I received.

Thanks for stopping by today to see what I created and can't wait to see what you create from this cool sketch over at Sketch N Scrap blog.

Old RTU LO for a Counterfeit Kit challenge

Good Morning and welcome :) Happy Sunday to you :) I've been enjoying playing with my kit this month.

Today is the 1st challenge over at Counterfeit Kit Challenge blog and our month's host is me! I challenged everyone.

Get Moving!

My love for antique tractors is producing this challenge! What do we usually see in the fall other that falling leaves is hay wagon rides and such, well they are usually pulled by a tractor so your challenge is to make a layout about any type of transportation: tractor, car, bike, plane, ect.
Today, use Transportation for your creation!

Here is what I created:
I had fun creating this layout using my kit, found this fun crackle look paper in my kit for my background. Using a cutfile that I sprayed with Tea color shine for some of the bits on the circle pieces on the layout. I used this sketch from Christy's Beautiful Life series 8 Day 9 sketch for my inspiration:
Switching up the placement of the photos and following along with the challenge over at Scraptember I used stickers on my layout using anything that didn't reference fall. I like the way it turned out :)

Thank you for stopping by today and seeing what I'm up to in my little corner of the world. I hope you join us over at Counterfeit Kit Challenge blog for this fun challenge.

CKC - September 2021 Kit Reveal - Great Outdoors

 September is here! The end of Summer and the beginning of Fall fastly approaches us here in the States. Cooler weather will be nice as this Summer was a bit hot at times :) I look forward to life settling down abit from traveling from Tractor show to Tractor show and maybe get my scrap on! Not done to much of that this past month.

We got a fun one this month for our Counterfeit Kit challenge. First you should have arrived here from Misty's blog  I'm excited to see what she has put together this month. Tori Gaines is our guest designer this month , excited to see what she put together too.As I'm the host this month for Counterfeit Kit Challenge blog this is my choice of inspiration for kit making this month:

I'm not much into buying kits because I like to make them out of my stash, but recently joined in with (Not) Just for Boys Scrapbooking Kit Club. What I like about their kits is it's not all florally and I get some fun bits and pieces too. So I decided to use one of their older kits for this month's challenge. I'm focusing on their Main Kit there are some add ons to if you want to use any of it
Main Kit:
{Not} Just for Boys Scrapbooking Kit Club - September 2020 Main Kit - Vivid

It's got that Fall vibe right now happening here in the States, but there is also all the outdoors looks of the kit too that is perfect for some gardening, tractor shows and masculine layouts.

I went right to those plaids, wood grain and the colors for my kit inspiration

Great Outdoors

My full kit includes ribbons, added doilies too for any feminine layouts, ephemera packs from Simple Stories Fall Farmhouse which I included the 6X8 paper pad and the sticker book, some buttons I got from (Not) Just for Boys Scrapbooking Kit Club also the frames came from a recent kit too. Grabbed some neutral gems and dots for the little final touches, I may add some sequins to the kit yet. The papers I chose for this month:

They had a stamps with words in their kit I added the word paper to mimic those stamps, lots of fall vibes in this kit with the addition of some fun plaids too.Here's some close ups of the kit

I'm excited to dig in and get playing with this kit, but first I need to see what the other girls have pulled together and a good place to start is over at Tracey's blog  I'm excited to see how the inspiration moved her for her kit :) and if you get lost here is the full list
