Merry Christmas with a Tree Diecut

Good Morning and welcome :) So sorry it's been quiet around the blog, September seems to do that at times as we do alot of harvest and canning at this time as the garden draws to an end and we only have a few plants to tend too. We did lots of tomatoes through September with canning juice, canning chunks, stewed and salsa too. We also canned up some grape jelly and the hubby is doing some homemade wine for a gift for each of the kids this year in their Christmas family gift. So tomorrow is October and that is a LOAD month so be on the lookout for lots of Layouts and I have lots of photos to scrap :) I've been taking a few online kitting classes so it's gonna be fun to see how they all differ and if I get any other tips in creating more kits, and tomorrow is a new reveal for Counterfeit Kit Challenge :) and then it's the 1st Saturday of October so that is National Cardmaking Day! Wow so much to do tomorrow.
But first we have today and it is FUNDAY Friday! Today the challenge over at Jo's Scrap Shack is "Cut it up w/ A Twist" INCORPORATE PAPER PIECING using your dies or machines. Our sponsors for this week's challenge is Robyn's Fetish Digital stamps and Bugaboo.
I used a digital stamp from Bugaboo for my card today:
I used Bugaboo Christmas Doodles digital stamp for my card. The whimsy of the stamp goes well with the whimsy of the tree. I printed out the stamp in a variety of sizes and now I have a couple more to use for Christmas this year in various ways. I used trims and adhesive gems from my current counterfeit kit : a Little Fall in the Air for my card.
I colored the stamp with bic markers, used Viva pearl pen in Gold for some dimension, chalked with in the circles and some on the outside too to soften the white and used a Fiscars Lace punch for the corners.
The inside of the card needs to be done yet (something I can do over the weekend)
Thank you for stopping by and seeing what I'm up too in my little corner of the world. Stop by Jo's Scrap Shack and see the other fine creations my DT sisters created.

A Fun Day For a Ride

Good Morning and welcome to a new challenge over at Lasting Memories Scrapbook Challenge blog. This is the last challenge of this theme and this month :) I used a sketch over at Scrappin N Chattin yahoo group for my layout :)The theme is direction and the challenge is "ALL AROUND" - Anything Goes that shows Direction... or use CIRCLES on your layouts!!
This was created during LOAD1015 the 1st Day. I went rouge on the 1st prompt :) due to lack of time wanted to do up a summer layout quickly cause I had er pictures handy :) LOAD1015 was the A Pirate's Life theme LOAD. The 1st prompt was to be inspired by A Pirate's Life For Me:
If you had a pirate in your family tree, what would you want to know about them? Think of the legends that would be passed down, the items that would gain significance by their association with that figure of mythical proportions.
Let’s work this month at remembering that WE hold a special place in our own family history! Set out to tell your own story so that you can live on in your family’s folklore. Let’s work at US being the focus of our pages this month.
So what is legendary about YOU? Tell us a story today…
That was just a tad bit much for me to try to think about, locate pictures of and produce a layout in less that 24 Hours, so I went rouge! and got a great layout completed of Dave and Zachary together. Thank you for stopping by today and seeing what I'm up to in my little corner of the world and look forward to seeing your creation from this prompt over a Lasting Memories

Your project could be related to any of the three challenges or maybe just something you made with your kit. As a reminder, here are the three challenges this month:
I chose to use one of Shimelle's sketches for my layout :) Love a good sketch challenge. Now this layout includes that card I made for a sneak peek back on the 15th when I couldn't show the rest of the layout :)

Shimelle's Sketch to Scrapbook Page: Putting One Photo Center Stage
This was such a cool sketch to use for this photo and for the card I made for Sketches in Thyme Project Life style. I used some of the Dazzles kit that was with in my kit of A Little Fall in the Air with some other papers from my stash in my kit. Glad to use up those chipboard pieces I got awhile back in a smashbook package of dodads :) A page that came together pretty quickly too just around a half an hour to create.
Thank you for stopping by and do continue on with the blog hop and see what Lisa has created she does so magnificent creations :) and you can see what she did create at her blog.
