Little Man LO for a Counterfeit Kit Challenge

Good Morning and welcome to the 2nd challenge of the month over at Counterfeit Kit Challenge blog. Leslie has challenged us to:

For this second challenge let’s try something fun! If you’ve been using your kit this month you have already been cutting your papers. Choose 5-6 random papers & cut a few strips. Weave the strips together to create a background, accent, or element for your page!

I had fun creating my background for the layout :)
From my kit Country Picnic I've been creating to I took some of the scraps I had and cut them into various size strips for my weave. Added this cute photo of AJ my grandson and scattered some embellishments but not many were needed for this layout
Close up of the background created with this technique. Thanks for stopping by and checking out what I have created today and I look forward to seeing what you create from this fun challenge.

Here We Go! LO for Stick it Down Challenge

Good Morning and welcome to Stick It Down challenge, their Double page challenge for the month of May. Our Sponsor this month is:
Angie's Digital Stamps is our sponsor for May!

 Here is the May sketch!
and this is what I created for this sketch:
This is the base page for our fun train ride that we took while we were in Honesdale, PA. There were 24 pictures to this section of the road trip so decided that I would also add 2 Pocket pages to this too (at a later date this month)
The right side of the page, I used a CTMH collection as well as that circle paper that was in my April Counterfeit kit: Spring Cleaning. The pin I purchased at the last place we stopped at and knew that I could use it like a flair badge on the layout. Bits and pieces from my BASHket was added to the layout too
I used some bits and pieces on this side of the layout from my April CKC: Spring Cleaning and I just about got this trip wrapped up!
Thanks for stopping by today and I look forward to seeing what you create with this fun challenge

INSD Counterfeit Kit Challenge Style

Hello and Happy (I)NSD yes a holiday for us scrappers! Wish my workplace would see this as a national holiday too :) Over at Counterfeit Kit Challenge blog we have some fun challenges for you today. Starting off with a Fantasty Scrapbooking Kit. Each MF chose a paper, an embellishment and something fun for the kit and this is what we created
Fantasy Scrapbooking

Master Forger Laura gave the Master Forger DT this fabulous moodboard - from the Studio Calico blog back in May 2016 - and challenged us to be inspired by it.

It's full of bright colours, the "on-trend" rainbow colours and is upbeat and happy - something that many of us might need at this crazy time.

Studio Calico blog archive

Each of us picked out one (or some of us stretched it to 2!) pieces of patterned paper, one embellishment and a "must-have" item that no kit of theirs should be without!

MF Laura then brought it ALL together to make a CKC hand-curated {inter}National Scrapbook Day kit!

And she decided to name our event

Fantasy Scrapbooking

because she said it reminded her of fantasy football or similar!

The MF DT group was buzzing as we all presented our essential take-aways from the moodboard and I have to tell you that we ALL want to buy the resulting kit! We should set up a kit club according to several members of the team :-)

What fun!

So I know that you all want to know what this fabulous kit looks like and here it is:

And because there were so many of us jumping in with ideas and items that "needed" to be included, MF Laura came up with an add-on kit too!
Are you up for the challenge? We hope you are because this isn't everything!

As well as curating our very own CKC Fantasy Scrapbooking kit, each member of the MF team also came up with a challenge which we will be posting on the hour, every hour through the day - so set your alarm and see you back here soon.

Here is the kit I put together for this weekend's scrapping:
Just a fun sampling of what I could grab in about 30 mins.
Here are the papers I chose to play with this weekend :)

I hope you will join us all day today :)
