Floral Happy Birthday card for Sketch N Scrap challenge

Good Morning :) As we get into Thanksgiving week it's a bit busy at my house and can imagine it's a bit busy at yours too :) It's nice to take a break and do a little crafting to wind down from the business.
Today is Sketch N Scrap's 2nd card sketch for November:
No automatic alt text available.

What a cool sketch this was to use and I can see this being used for a variety of style cards too :) I used it to make a Birthday card for one of our granddaughters:
A floral birthday card for a sweet young woman :) Wanting to bring a bit of summer to Amber's winter birthday.
The inside is ready for the chosen sentiment for the card. Thank you for stopping by today and I look forward to seeing your creation for this sketch and all the other sketches over at Sketch N Scrap

Apple Blossom layout for Lasting Memories challenge

Hello :) welcome to the last challenge of this challenge series over at Lasting Memories Scrapbook Challenge blog. The theme is Scrapbook Cooking Time and this week's challenge is:
Recipe #4 is our challenge for this week:

LM#371 -  2 photos, 2 different fonts for title, 4 patterned papers, 5 buttons, 1 ribbon/trim/twine, 4 die cuts and sprinkle with mist.

1st I gathered up the needed supplies for the layout. So a small page kit is what I think when I look at these recipes. It's really I nice change of pace doing challenges like this:
This kit less the mist cause I ended changing the color mist to teal because of the letters I used created this layout:
After the snowy winter we had this year it's always nice to see the pretty colors of spring and the Apple Blossoms were really pretty this year and a bunch of them. I used the sketch over at The Memory Nest for my layout inspiration too:
https://thememorynest.blogspot.com/2017/11/make-it-monday-no-99.html
A really fun sketch to use for the layout, sketch #99.
My journaling and a cluster around the photo. The photos are from my phone and for some odd reason it took a better picture of the background than of the blossoms itself. It's fun to emphasize something different from the property each spring.
 More clustering
 More journaling
and my title work.Thank you for stopping by today and I look forward to seeing your creation for this fun challenge over at Lasting Memories Scrapbook Challenge blog. 4 challenges that you can check out and do and were offering up a $20 gift card to an online store to one lucky winner, so get your layouts linked up over at  Lasting Memories Scrapbook Challenge blog by Saturday, November 25th for your chance to win!

Smiles Please for the Sketches in Thyme Project Life Style challenge

This is my 2nd post of the day, if you are looking for the Sketch N Scrap layout you can find it here.

We got a cute journaling sketch for our challenge today over at Sketches in Thyme Project Life Style challenge:
No automatic alt text available.
this is what I created with it:
 and the layout:
We tried to get a photo with the girls and during their 1st Birthday party, also one with the girls and Waylon, but they were not cooperating that day at all. But I did finally get Reyn to calm down when I was showing her the camera and in the process got this fun picture of the 2 of us together. Used some older scrapbook stash for the layout it's been fun just visiting my florals drawer for the 2 layout I did today. Just a few more pictures from this day to be scrapped yet :)
I used this sketch over at our sister challenge site Sketches in Thyme
Perfect for this layout
 Close ups of the photos.

Autumn Splendor for the Use Your Stuff challenge

Good Morning :) Today over at Use Your Stuff our DT sister  Karrie is challenging us to use up our stuff!!  Yeah that's what we' re always all about here, so this time dig into your patterned papers because we want to see you use 5 or more on your project!
Here is the layout I created using 5 pattern papers:
This layout came about from LOAD1017 Day11: I've got a secret...... …place – somewhere you’ve always loved to be.
My home is always my favorite place to be the good the bad and the ugly at times, but always my favorite :) through past LOADs I have scrap many stories about my home and each year just a walkabout on the property gives me the reasons why my home is my fav place to be :) Some of the sunflowers that grew this year within the small pumpkin patch we had. Sketch over at Scrapbook Generations the free sketch during their crop this past weekend. The title chipboard has been in my stash a long time so glad I finally found a place to use it :)
I used 5 different pattern papers that came from my old 100 Pattern Paper pile (in the process of putting a new one together to use this upcoming year :) as a challenge in October for our 100 Pattern Paper facebook group.
Some close ups of the layout. My journaling
5 pattern papers: the background paper, the photo mat paper and seperate framed paper too, the border stripe paper is the oldest paper on this layout coming from 2008 and the orange stripe paper was a branding strip :) Using washi tape for the other border, stickers from a fall collection I have, strips of dazzles stickers and enamel dots to finish it off :)
That is a chipboard piece that I've been trying to use and finally found a place to use it :)
A close up of one of the sunflowers and that fits Scrappy Sisters Scrap September challenge Day 18: Close-up.
Thanks for stopping by today and I look forward to seeing your creation over at Use Your Stuff challenge blog.

Bird Feeder Merry Go Round for Lasting Memories layout challenge

Good Morning and welcome :) This is the 3rd week's challenge this month over at Lasting Memories Scrapbook challenge blog.

Scrapbook Cooking Time - Recipe #3

LM #370 - create a layout using the following - 1 large photo, 3 patterned papers, a pinch of wood veneer, a dash of chipboard pieces, and sprinkle with enamel dots.
Here is what I created:
This is a photo of a surprise I received from my husband and the 1st thing I thought was WOW that is a Bird Feeder Merry Go Round hence the title :) It's the beginning and a work in progress with plans to add flowers around it in the spring. So thinking that October Afternoon Midway collection be a great way to show off this large picture.
 My journaling block
 Title work
Close up of the picture of the feeders. Were hoping this is a good way to keep the squirrels out of the feeders.
My bottom corner cluster. Thank you for stopping by today and seeing what I'm up to in my little corner of the world :) I look forward to seeing your creation to this fun challenge over at Lasting Memories Scrapbook challenge blog.

Spring 2017 for a Lasting Memories Scrapbook Challenge

Good Morning :) It's been a bit chilly, actually down right cold in our area right now :) Frosty every morning and I'm not one that enjoys scraping windows!
This layout took a little bit longer than I thought and the interference of working over the weekend didn't help with my creative time :) But I got this layout done, being the hostess of this month's challenges over at Lasting Memories Scrapbook Challenge blog, thought it appropriate that I create a layout for each challenge. This is this week's current challenge
Our theme for November is "Scrapbook Cooking Time" and  our second recipe challenge is:
LM #369 - Create a layout and use the following "ingredients" on it - twine/thread, sequins, labels, die cuts, solid cardstock, and vellum.
You can always use other items, as well, but we must be able to see the items in the recipe on your layout:

Just some of the flowers that we grew this year :) some detailed layouts to come of the bulbs we planted this past year. For my layout I used the current sketch over at Stuck?! for my inspiration:
This is a great sketch and has alot of fun elements going on with it too :)
I was also able to include this layout for Scrapping 4 fun  has a tic-tac-toe challenge this month:

Using the 1st vertical row: Twine, Sequins, bling (thickers)

A couple of my favorite bulb plants :) I used a label with the word sticker adore on it. Sassy sequins, twine in the tag, solid cardstock for the overall page and matted the photos with and the vellum I found a fun word vellum in my stash says April showers ....bring May Flowers
The die cut I used I had gotten in a swap years back. Used a few letter stickers for the journaling part of the sketch
My journaling space says of the pansies that I got for a surprise from the hubby and the bulbs coming up in full bloom :) I added the couple of pansies flowers I made years ago in a scrapbooking class and so glad to finally get them used and out of my stash.
Thank you for stopping by today to see what I'm up to in my little corner of the world and I look forward to seeing your creation for this fun challenge over at Lasting Memories Scrapbook challenge blog.

Fun Adventure for a Stick It Down challenge

Good Morning and welcome :) to a new week. Busy with work it's been a bit crazy with our new order from a new customer (so right now it's a secret till it goes out to market) So deadlines create lots of mandatory work for me! and not so much creative time. So busy working on this month's DT projects today so I can get ahead a bit.
Today is the Double Page team reveal over at Stick It Down and a really fun sketch to use too. Another double page layout from the Honesdale, PA Roadtrip:
Here is the sketch we used. I flipped for my pictures:

I could see this being used for lots of different style pictures and for more inspiration you need to go over to the Stick It Down blog and see what my DT sisters did with it :)
The left side of the layout has our individual pictures plus the same tickets you see in our hands (that was Dave's idea to have them in the photo of him and I just followed suit). Got some fun ephemera to add to the layout, cutting it out of the brochures I got earlier in the day, that day.
This was the train that we were on, were were on the passenger train closest to the engine. It was a nice smooth ride too. The owner maintains it well
My title and journaling. To not take away to much from the pictures I used minimal embellishment using the ephemera and brads.
Thanks for stopping by and seeing what I'm up too in my little corner of the world. I look forward to seeing your creation for this fun sketch challenge over at Stick It Down
