CKC - November 2026 Kit Reveal - Gathered in Autumn

Good Morning and welcome to my blog. It's the 1st of November and that means it's time for a new inspiration kit reveal. Brandi is the host this month and has chosen a lovely grateful kit for our inspiration. But first you should have arrived from Tara's blog looking forward to seeing what she put together. Our guest forger this month is Debbie Barton. 

 Brandi says about the kit inspiration this month: I was drawn to this kit for the rich earth tones and of course the Thanksgiving theme is perfect for those of us in the USA. I can also see these colors working beautifully for an outdoorsy/nature type kit as well. We cannot wait to see what everyone creates this month! 

Without further ado, I'd like to present this month's inspiration kit - "Grateful" by Miss Kate Designs! 

 A lovely collection mixing the autumns colors with the blues and greens too. I took advantage of these colors when putting together my own kit for the month.

Gathered in Autumn

I like the vintage autumn feel to the kit with the sunflowers, pumpkins, botanical prints, warm plaids and cozy earthy tones. 

The papers I love the colors and those plaids too.

Added some sunflower flair and a various leaves

Tags, frames, chipboard and small alphas too

Words, tags, diecuts and clusters.

Its the Season card for a Sketch N Scrap challenge

This sketch was an easy way to make this cool card. Best way to use up Christmas scraps is with making cards.

I See You LO for a Sketch n Scrap challenge

Good morning and welcome to my blog. It's been an up and down Fall so far with the temperatures, right now we are in a warm spell again. Today is the mid-sketch over at Sketch N Scrap, a throwback sketch, I chose this sketch for my layout inspiration:  

I had fun creating using this sketch 

Used some pictures from my Jim Thrope PA trip in 2024 and my current counterfeit kit for my paper inspiration. Also playing along with Cutfile Crazy and added 3 cutfiles to this layout using one for the other border piece in the sketch. The cutfiles I received in a misfit box from Some Assemblage Required

CKC - October 2026 Kit Reveal - Fall into Creativity

Good Morning and welcome to my blog. It's the 1st of October and that means it's time for a new inspiration kit reveal. Laurie is the host this month and has chosen a cool Fall collection for our inspiration. But first you should have arrived from Tara's blog looking forward to seeing what she put together. Our Guest Designer for this month is Jennifer Cain. You may know her as ScrappinCain on YouTube and Instagram.

It's me, Laurie,  I'm so excited to be your hostess this month as we take a look at a brand new inspiration kit and put our own creative spin on it. Let's take a look at the kit I've chosen. It's Simple Stories Pumpkins and Plaid. Click here for a better look.

Fall into Creativity

The papers: 

I added some woodgrain too as well as those plaids. Some fall theme papers are included. Fall for me is all about nature as it is in Spring just with different colors. 

The wood veneer I chose quite a bit from my loose ones. 

Brought in some fun leaf gems 

A closeup of the acrylic titles I added to my kit and some laser cuts from 49&Market too 

Some fun diecuts I acquired from a past weekender. 

The last close up more acrylic titles, some more wood veneer and some more nature related diecuts.

Teamwork LO for a Sketch n Scrap challenge

Welcome to my blog, today's layout is from a day in Colorado Springs when I was taken out for the day exxploring it.Today is the mid-sketch over at Sketch N Scrap, a throwback sketch, I chose this sketch for my layout inspiration:

I used a cutfile from Cutfile Confidence class for my title work along with 49&Market Campfire Memories and Simple Stories Here + There. This was a fun sketch to play with.

CKC - Spetember 2026 Kit Reveal - The Great Adventure

 Good Morning and welcome to my blog. It's the 1st of September and that means it's time for a new inspiration kit reveal. As I'm the host this month over at Counterfeit Kit Challenge blog and I knew that I wanted to do a travel kit to start on my Seattle and Alaska adventure so that lead me to my choice... But first you should have arrived from Tara's blog which is fitting as she pointed me to this month's inspiration kit. I want to welcome Karin as our guest forger this month she's a great member of our CKC facebook community. So let's see this month's inspiration: 

Tina here for this month's hosting duties. I recently was on an awesome vacation and wanted to scrap some of it in September so was blessed that a friend pointed out this kit for me and new it was perfect for this month's inspiration  This month we are using a kit from Traci Reed called Story Foundations:  Destinations.  Let me share the kit with you.

 Isn't this kit amazing! I'm considering purchasing it. But for now I'll build something from my own stash: Here is my kit for September:

The Great Adventure!

This kit is packed full of all kinds of goodness! Let me try to break it all down

The Papers: 

approimately 60 papers in this kit some are cutaparts and will be used for that.

Pocket cards that are Alaska specific that a dear friend gifted me and received just in time to make it into my kit! 

Acrylic titles and a bunch of fun flair specific for Seattle and Alaska plus generic ones too. 

Cutfiles gifted to me from my roommate on this cruise! Looking forward to playing with those...

Closer look at the variety of things in this kit so many embellishments to play with and choose from.

Close up 2 and that included cutapart sheet from the inspirational kit my roommate already bought and sent me some! 

The perfect way to end this is with the Best Summer Ever as I not had such a fun summer as I had with this trip in a looooooong time!
