Lucky to have a Friend like You

Hi, glad to be here today with you all. Welcome, I'm the designer today over at Card A Day Blog. This week is St. Patrick's Day, only a month away but we want to give you some inspiration to make your own cards before the actual day.

This card was made at my local scrapbook shop last year during a fun class of making cards. Classes for cards can be amazing cause you usually get to do many cards in a short period of time, sometimes get out of your comfort zone (depending on the card made) and learn a new thing or two.
This card was very simple to make, the leaves of the clover was diecut with a spellbinders heart set the smaller hearts were then dry embossed with swiss dots folder. the stem was just cut for a piece of the cardstock. The background was cut and then punched in the corners. Add a button tied with a bow and the sentiment cut from scraps of the leftover card stock and you got the perfect card to give to that special over St. Patty's Day. If you get a chance and have a local scrapbook store check them out for some card classes today.
Have a great day and thanks for stopping by my little corner of the world....

  1. cute card. Cardmaking is something I've always been interested in, but I haven't got around to it yet. Maybe one day!
