Happy 3rd Birthday

A 2 page layout of Zachary's 3rd Birthday party. This was done for a sketch class I'm taking at Big Picture Classes called Sketch Solutions it's been a good class.
We made sure to get back to town from our vacation for this party and had a fantastic time, love being around the Grandkids. The blue papers and the sequins comes from my current counterfeit kit. The right side of the page:
This was fun to put together and I used the same border on both pages so it would link together.
This side qualifies for the Scrap our Stash's current challenge
Create a MONOCHROMATIC layout and include the following:
Your layout should be different shades of 1 color. I used Blue, even the border cut has a hint of blue with one of the trains
STASH ITEMS: You must also add 5 (or more) DIFFERENT premade/prepackaged embellishments of your choice on your layout. You can use as many of the items you want BUT you will need to list 5 different items. My list: Die cuts, washi tape, the napkin (Timothy train) is in a photo sleeve (me & my big ideas), project life card, sequins, Metal dots , also have Glitter adhesive chipboard and a sticker from a 24/7 simple stories sticker sheet.
The pictures are one of my hubby, the birthday boy making a comment and Zach blowing out the candles on his cake
The left side:
This side held the pictures from the games that were played that day. Avery won the pin the tail on the donkey and Astacia finally got the train pinata of candy open. A couple of pictures of the Zach the birthday boy trying his best. I added a couple of cut out pieces throughout the layouts.
I was glad to have the photo sleeves to hold the napkin that way I was able to include it in the layout and I don't have to worry about it affecting the other photos. The 3 happy birthday cut is from the Silhouette store and cut with my cameo.
The journaling spot and some metal dots, sequins and a pennant
The good stuff chipboard came from a Simple Stories 24/7 chipboard stickers package. and the train was a tattoo sheet that was scattered about the tables at the party thought it would be a nice touch of memorabilia from the day
Few shots if the pinata game. Zachary is in the middle with the balloon cut and the corner star. He really enjoyed his day, the 4th birthday party will be up and coming soon. Thanks for stopping by today and seeing what I'm up too. Going to a scrapbook yardsale today what do you have planned :)
