End of Season

Hi you all,
I have to get this posted before tomorrow to get it hooked up to the sketched I used. I had fun watching Dave as he was cleaning up the tomato patch and took some pictures of the process:
While I was looking through the challenges that I collected through the month I came across this sketch from Sketch N Scrap and just loved the grid style of the sketch:

this is sketch #9
This was so cool and with all the little pictures of the process this grid style was just perfect for the layout. Close up pictures of the layout:

It was fun to create this layout over the weekend, the year end rituals that Dave goes through preparing the ground for the winter season, piece by piece (like the grid) each section gets done after the season is over for that particular planting.
This was the last of the five page kits I made up for stash bash and had a blast putting them together. Took only a couple of hours each layout since I had all the parts and just had to decide the sketch and what I may have wanted to get creative with the layout.
It was fun trying to kill my counterfeit kit too for the month but once again not quite but I'm getting closer only a few pages left and looking forward to October 1st when the new inspirational kit comes out :)
I'm including this layout in Lasting Memories: Nature's Glory challenge.

  7. What a fun layout Tina! I love your take on the sketch and I love the pictures. I also loved that you took pictures of this yearly ritual and documented it. We need some more "everyday" life in our scrapping I think. Hugs, Brenda

  8. Such an interesting layout. It was neat to see all the farm equipment, and the almanac page added to your layout. Loved the cork look of the background and your pink & green colors were great with the photos. Liked that grid look of your layout, and your picture placement really nailed that so well. TFS & Happy wkend. Hugs
