40 in 2026 LO for a Counterfeit Kit Challenge

Good Morning and welcome to my blog, we've got winter showing up huge this week with the coldest temps we have seen and felt so far. I was actually enjoying the milder weather. Today is challenge 2 over at the Counterfeit Kit Challenge blog, our host Vikki has asked us to:

Since it's the beginning of a new year, it's the perfect time to set goals for yourself.  Do you set scrapbook related goals - maybe you keep track of how many pages you complete each year, or how many paper collections you want to use up.  Do you have a goal of how many books you will read this year?  Whatever the goal, today's challenge is to document one, or all, of them.

I had already did my scrappy goals layout for 2026 that's usually the 1st layout I do at the beginning of the year so I decided to do:

I used this sketch from the Scrappy Square 31 days of sketches this month:
It made it fast and easy to get this layout done. So this year I'm trying something new as I always have my scrappy goals, but now that I'm reading more I decided to make a reading goal in 2026. Since I got my kindle during the black Friday sales I've been reading every night. So a reading goal would be a good one to take on this year :) Using my current kit plus some themed wood veneer from Some Assemblage Required for this fun layout.

Thank you for stopping by today and seeing what I'm up to in my little corner of the world. I hope you join us over at Counterfeit Kit Challenge blog for this fun challenge.
