Sawmill Layout

Good Afternoon you all and welcome. This double layout makes 50 layouts done since Jan 1, 2014 I conquered the challenge! Sweet now I can add all my dedicated monthly local club purchases into my stash and start another round. I still have lots of stash to use up :)
This was taken during the Bark's Peelers' Convention July 3, 2010, that we attended. This is a 2 page layout of the Sawmill in action.
The left side of the layout shows the process from the pond to the log being cut into usable wood. I thought best to use a grid style layout for this.
The right side shows how the sawdust leaves the mill to keep the dust down. The conveyor then takes it to an empty wagon. Also shown the lower level of the mill where the belts and pulleys operate.
I used paper from both the March and April counterfeit kits and still haven't killed the kits yet, but I have a plan for next month that might killed all the kits :) the letter stickers came from this month's kit.
The arrows were cut the day I was doing a lot of cutting with the cameo. I pulled the metal paper from a masculine paper pack that I got at Walmart a few years ago.
The SAWMALL lettering I pulled from my alphas stash I knew I had some letters that represent wood and worked out great for the layout.
Added a 3X4 journaling card from the journaling pads in this month's kit. It was a fun layout to make and so glad to finish up my 50 layouts last night.
Yesterday's layout was featured on "Lasting Memories" Scrapbook Layout Challenges. I Feel so blessed by my Lord to have the creativeness I have. I have so much fun trying out the challenges and that is enough for me, my rewards are in what I create and any new techniques I learn along the way
Today, I will be taking off from the creativeness and preparing my room for something I signed up for and want to give a try. It's called LOAD514. More details tomorrow with the other layout I did on Sunday to show you :)

May is National Scrapbooking Month-tomorrow there will be a new kit to work up for Counterfeit Kit Challenge blog (check out the hop tomorrow) and they have big plans for Scrapbooking Day on Saturday and they are also doing things on Sunday too so a full weekend of fun, challenges and prizes at Counterfeit Kit Challenge Blog :) What are your plans for the month?

  1. Wow 50 layouts?! You rock Tina! I love this layout, I love all the pictures you got on this layout. I also love the embellishments-the wood grain paper is perfect but I also love that you add the diamond plate embossing. So cool looking! Hugs
