Summer Time Fun

At least it felt that way the day of the ride. How is your summer going WOW can you believe how fast July is flying right by us. So the challenge over at Lasting Memories challenge #200 WoW that is alot of challenges :) so the challenge is Buttons which my layout has on it
This layout was done with a sketch for July's challenge at a Yahoo group called Scrappin-n-Chattin Group, it's a fun little group with lots of fun challenges :)
So this layout came about cause of the need for a large picture and the one that I didn't find to tell that story, I found this one to tell this story :) This picture came from a calendar page from our club calendars and it was a picture of me on one of my hubby's tractors and this was the tractor that we got from a friend that had passed away, we got it at his auction of his tractors and we ride this in his memory :)
I added the buttons in all 3 corners that there were design elements on the sketch, plus it makes a nice design triangle :) The papers and the elements came from both of my current counterfeit kits this month and the rubons were in a previous kit.
The title came from a circle punch and a scallop punch plus a few of the words that were n the edge of one of the 12X12 papers from CTMH Jubilee pack the yellow doily pattern is from that line too.
I added a few more pictures from the ride some PA scenery and my husband on his Z
I found this brad in with the buttons that was the same color going on with the blues and added it where the design element on the sketch would have come all the way down the page in that area.
My journaling actually came from the write up on the calendar page and worked out perfect for it to be lined up there from the sketch. The only thing I added after the pictures were taken was the date and I used my Dymo for that.
Thanks for stopping by today and seeing my view of what I do love of PA :)

Really enjoyed seeing these, and how fantastic that when you're riding & having a good time - you can remember your dear friend at the same time. You're having a good summer, I can tell.
