Easter Egg Hunt for a Lasting Memories Layout Challenge

Good Morning :) and welcome to a new month of challenges over at Lasting Memories Scrapbook Challenge. This month Haven is the host of the challenges and she has made the theme of the month is Spring. I can't believe on the Eastern side of the States we are finally experiencing Spring :) It's been a very odd winter and hopefully spring won't follow suit. The challenge is:
This week we are asking you to create a layout using spring flowers.  It can be photos of flowers, patterned paper with flowers or even bunches of flower embellishments.

LM #338 - Create a layout using Spring flowers. They can be flowers in the photos, floral patterned paper, or flower embellishments.

I had decided I wanted to get some old Easter Egg Hunt photos scrapped this month with the challenges so wit the addition of the flower journaling spot and the flower chipboard the rest of the layout is dedicated to Easter Eggs it seems :)
I chose a double page layout for the opening page to the 2014 Easter Egg Hunt. This is our big event each year with our local grandkids, so I've got 50+ photos to scrap so lots of double pages and pocket pages to get the event scrapped :) The inspiration for this layout came from yesterday's reveal of Let's Scrap April 1st sketch challenge (yes sometimes I do the DT project the night that it's due!)

Definetly a fun sketch to use. With so many pictures I chose to do a photo collage of 4 of the printed photos for the one large photo they have on the left hand page:
I used my current counterfeit kit: Spring Garden for this layout and also found some old Easter paper that had borders on it from with in my page kit box that helped with the eggs border and the journaling spot. Dave is the leader of the hunt making sure none of the kids get to far ahead and all the eggs got picked up.
Some more pictures of the hunt and this hunt was Tristan's first one so he just enjoyed the view of what was going on from Mom's shoulder :) The title was created with the thickers I had in last month's counterfeit kit
 Journaling spot
Sweet Tristan :) and a flower chipboard piece from my kit
The kids having fun searching, Dave can be very creative when hiding eggs. We are blessed to have lots of trees on our property.
This is the one photo tha I have just about everyone in it other than Zachary for some odd reason. From left to Andrea, Brad, Katherine w/ Tristan, Albert (the tallest one), Avery, Elias, Astacia, Isabelle and AJ in the front.
Thank you for stopping by today, I've got some Spring Cleaning to do in my craft room + another DT project. Have an enjoyable day :) Might have to get out and enjoy the sunshine a bit today too :)
