LIL' Man

Yep this is the final one for today, Saturday I'll catch up on the rest of the layouts for all the challenges, thanks for sticking with me :) This was yesterday's LOAD prompt layout. The theme for Wednesday is Word Play and she took the prompt from the book Piggy & Jarold, using Dialogue for your journaling, a conversation on your layout. (You haven't see the first one I did like this for another prompt) So I went on search for another conversation and found one I had with Andrea on Jan 2:
So the inspiration of the speech bubbles came from the video from Lain for the day's prompt, but the layout came from the sketch over at Scrap Our Stash with a color palette that we had to use at least 3 of the colors from:
Sketch Challenge #23
So I used the greens, reds, blues and creams from the color palette added the journaling blocks to the left hand side of the sketch that was open. The rest of the layout matches the sketch pretty darn close.
The cream color background paper came from the DCWV Linen Closet paper pad which came from my current kit along with the red pattern papers. The green and the blues came from my stash. I found these fun speech bubbles sitting in an old counterfeit kit the other night and pulled them out to be used and by george! I got the perfect opportunity to use them. They made a fun addition to this layout.
The picture of Andrea and Avery is very current taken with in the past week, the other photo was from the 1st day of school this year. Used some SU stars and hearts sequins.
Closer look of the journaling blocks, a really fun layout. The conversation was about Avery's height and how the Campbell gene is taking over amongst most of the grandkids, just a couple didn't seem to get it. It'll be fun to see how the Great Grandkids make out. Avery is becoming more and more like his Dad so we'll have to wait and see how tall he does get :) Thanks a bunch and wish you all a fantastic day today....
