Lycoming County Fair 2010

Hello and welcome. Well yesterday we got another layer of snow and ice coating over that (one nice thing is it snowed first) made everything crunchy but not to horrible of a drive into work. My layout today is from Day 17 of LOAD it was a Tuesday and that was Design Principles. The prompt was to use one large image across 2 pages. The inspirational video showed a brochure that opened up for the large image, so I went that way and used the brochure that we got of the fair for my center portion of the layout:
I used my CTMH Jubilee workshop on the go kit and the chipboard elements that are from this line too. This kit was in a previous counterfeit kit awhile back. The only thing not from the kit besides the stuff I received at the fair and the photos was that border of tickets I think that came from a cutapart sheet I had.
The left side of the layout has the brochure, the parking ticket and pictures from the day.
The right side of the layout has the rest of the brocure, the tickets that I was able to keep from the demolition derby and more pictures.
A closer view of the brochure and pictures. I used alot of cut up pieces from the one words sheet that came with the kit.
I kept the demolition derby with the tickets and the info of the derby on the brochure.
We had a very enjoyable day that day with the grandkids. Love to see Dave enjoying the interaction with the grandkids.
So this ended up being one of my favorite layouts out of LOAD, suppose to be a large image and I made it into a large montage of photos of the day.

  2. I can see why this is your favorite LOAD layout Tina, it is amazing! I love how you did the brochure and I love the pictures and the way you have them on the layout. It looks like you all had loads of fun!! I've only been to the fair two times, once when I was a young child, my step-grandparents took us, and then Dwayne and I went to the Adams County Fair in the mountains once for a short while. I think we went because we dropped the boys off somewhere close by to hike on the trail. So we went over for a while, until a big storm brewed up and then I worried about the boys. They were fine, but I was having a fit that they were out in the storm. I think they had gotten to one of the shelters, but I didn't know that. lol I always enjoy your layouts Tina, they are always so fun! Hugs, Brenda
