Shamrock Cupcake for Funday Friday Challenge

Happy Friday to you all :) I've had a busy week of tax prep and so glad that it's finished and I can get back to crafting :) The weather here has been getting warmer and we're seeing the snow melting away,  the grass underneath is good to see. With the slow melt the water table should be getting built back up.
So today for Funday Friday challenge over at Jo's Scrap Shack is:
This week's Challenge:
"Lucky Clover"
Create a card, layout or project using this week's theme!
Our sponsor this week is Limited Runs Digital Stamps:
Limited Runs has a wide selection of cupcakes digital designs to choose from I used their 4 leaf clover design.
I used the March Card sketch over at Stick it Down for the layout of my card:

I used a variety of green papers on my card to match the theme of the day and the card.
Closer view of the cupcake. I used pine green stickles for the clovers and Gold Pearl liquid pearls for the icing (I was impressed how well it turned out looks just like icing :) I was glad to give it a try on the cupcake. The rest of the stamp was colored with bic makers. I cut it with SB Labels Nine and inked the edges with this month's Counterfeit Kit choice of inks: Peeled Paint distressed ink, I also used the ink for the sentiment (SU Teeny Wishes stamp). The sequins are from last month's kit and the paper was in my stash.
Because the card base was double sided paper thought best to use the green on the inside to cover the design and bring in the green of the holiday, added more of the stripe paper and the border element from K&Company adhesive borders. Thanks for stopping by today, I will also be using this card for Counterfeit Kit Challenge: Challenge #2: Irish Challenge.

  9. Your card is fabulous Tina, I love the texture on your icing. Our water table here should be good, our septic was so full of run off water that our septic had to be pumped for us to use anything in the house. Then we had a clog too. After almost a week of not being able to use the bathroom and the water, we are back to normal. Thanks to Dwayne who got the clog out. It is good to see the grass and some of our grass is turning green. The yard is full of robins, never seen so many at once. So it is a sure sign that spring is on the way. Hugs, Brenda
