What You Reading for a Lasting Memories challenge

Wow 2017 is upon us! How exciting and I think it's going to be a good year for us. We both think that with our household goals for this year will make it a good year. I've got lots of cleaning out the old this year, lots from my old business to get cleaned.
My goals for my scrappy life I will post tomorrow and looking forward to a scrappy year this coming year!

This month's theme over at Lasting Memories was brought to us by our Design Team sister Lori and the theme is: "Stash buster" challenge - Let's show these neglected items in our stash a little love in the new year! This Week's Challenge is: Punches - Use those punches on your layout! Any type of punch - border punches, shape punches, and if you don't have punches, use  die cut/ephemera. Lots of cool inspiration over at Lasting Memories from the Design Team. Here is what I created:
This is Zachary January 25, 2012 Katherine posted this photo on Facebook and I responded "What's that the sports section or the financial section he's reading?" Got to love this! Just about 1 1/2 yrs old here. I used my favorite punch for this layout and used a variety of paper that makes me think of newsprint. the title I created with an alpha I thought looked great as it's similiar to a newspaper. A fun layout to create and the punches of blue gives it a nice touch.
Thank you for stopping by today and I do hope you enjoy this 1st day of the new year......

  2. What a cute layout Tina! I have a few pictures like this as well. One of Bret when he was little and one of my granddaughter "reading" her papaw's farming magazine. They are so precious in their early years. I love this picture of your grandson Tina, it is just way to cute! Happy New Year my friend! Hugs, Brenda
