CKC - February 2024 Kit Reveal - Carribean Blue

Welcome to my blog and the 1st of February that means it's a new inspiration for us over at Counterfeit Kit Challenge kits to challenge us to look through our own stash and choose a kit to play with. 1st you should have arrived here from Christine's youtube channel I'm looking forward to checking out her kit and see what inspired her. We are thrilled to have Jessica Mikels join us as Guest Forger. You can follow her on her blog, Instagram and YouTube!. Make sure you leave her some love!!!
Brandie Jo is our host and she says:

And now the moment we’ve all been waiting for… our latest inspiration kit! I chose “November Rain” by Not Just for Boys Kit Club! I absolutely love everything Meridy and Paula put together monthly, so I knew that’s exactly where I was headed this month. Here is a photo of the main kit:

They also offer an add-on essentials kits, which is typically mixed media product and additional embellishments! You can also buy extra paper add-ons & more items ala carte on their site. Lots of inspiration to be had for building a stash kit as well!

I have to agree with Brandi Jo and love the kits the Meridy and Paula put together over at Not Just for Boys kit club :P So looking at the inspiration kit I'm seeing lots of Blue and just love that! Woodgrain, Plaid, Brick and what looks like Rust I was very drawn to buildng my own kit. You see that I brought in some papers from some previous Not Just for Boys kits to round out my kit.

Here is my kit for February:

Carribean Blue

 Here are the papers:

I loved the papers in the inspiration kit and wanted to mimic them as much as I possibly could. The Alphas:

I also brought in the cutfile from the kit that I added to my own papers. Definitely has that same Fall feel to it.
Close up 1 has the chipboard stickers, die cuts in the way to tags and frames and that cool stencil too.
Close up 2 has the chosen sprays in blue, also blue leaves, blue twine and wood buttons. There is another twine in there as well as some acrylic pieces too.
Close up 3 has sequins, wood veener, stamps and more leaves. I'm glad I have a few Fall photos yet that need scrap and I think this kit will be perfect for any other pictures I want to scrap too. Thanks for stopping by today to my little corner of the world.
Off you go to Misty's blog if you get lost along the way the blog list is below. We look forward to seeing what you come up with for your kit this month at the CKC communly facebook group
