CKC - April 2021 Kit Reveal - Spring Afternoon

Good Morning and Welcome! Ahh April a favorite month for me as I love Spring! and I love to see Spring all around me it makes my heart happy...... Spring flowers........... Spring also bring in the birds during migration so we get to see all kinds of birds in lots of colors too and that makes my heart happy too. You should have arrived here from Tara's blog, looking forward to seeing what all the ladies have come up with for their kits this month and you'll find a full list at the bottom of the post

Now it's April 1st and that also means that it's time for a new Counterfeit Kit Challenge and our host this month is Leslie and she has chosen a beautiful kit the Garden Party scrapbook kit: https://scrapbookandcards.com/garden-party-scrapbook-kit/Garden Party.

Here is what she says about the kit: I wanted to use a source off the general range of choices. I know that whatever part of the globe you’re in we are all appreciating gardens about now – either looking forward to them or enjoying them at their peak.

Here’s how they describe it: Celebrate the arrival of a fresh new season with our spring kit, Garden Party! This colourful collection captures the colours and patterns of spring with papers from Dear Lizzy, Jen Hadfield, Paige Evans and Simple Stories. We’ve added perfectly coordinating accents like silk flowers, twine, tassels, mixed ephemera and bright buttons to add special touches to all your projects. And the exclusive 4×6 stamp set, printable tags and kit cut files will bring unique inspiration to your crafting. Let’s tiptoe through the tulips and dance in the daffodils at the Garden Party!

Woohoo I actually have some of this kit in my stash! Paige Evans Bloom Street so that was the base of starting my kit

Spring Afternoon

My full kit! I got lots of goodies surrounding my papers and some fun mixed media stuff too!

Full sheets and some scraps too. That large floral from Bloom Street is what helped with my choices besides some of the things that had in the inspirational kit too. Close ups:

Mixed media and I'll be playing with stencils too
Chipboard and puffy stickers
Alphas, words, dollies, die cuts and wood veener
I brought in 2 6X8 paper pads too and also the Paige Evans sticker book

The tray of goodies has those loose stuff: Buttons, twine, washi tape, gems and enamels, more die cuts, ribbons and more doilies too there is blue ones there too under the yellow and pink ones. A fine kit for some fine photos that need to be scrapped! Thanks for stopping by now off you go to see what Tracey has in her kit and it would be great to see some of your kits too this month over at the Community facebook group
