Floatie Fun for a Sketch N Scrap FB challenge

Today I'm doing the August 1st layout sketch from Sketch N Scrap that will be posted on the facebook group.
No photo description available.
I only had 3 photos to use for this layout so I changed it up just a bit by adding a PL card to it for onw of the photos.
Pure summer fun on this layout of the 2 granddaughters and the 3 Great grandaughters enjoying floating on the Lake. I captured all the colors from all those floaties that Amber is carrying.
My journaling :) Thanks for stopping by today and I look forward to seeing your creation for this fun challenge over at Sketch N Scrap

Twins Time for Sketch N Scrap Challenge #183

Good Morning, I hope you are all well :) We're enjoying a little vacation in the southern half of PA this week but made sure to get this layout done for today's challenge over at Sketch N Scrap. Challenge #183 sketch is from the creative Heather Hall:
No photo description available.

This is the layout I created with this fun sketch:

This layout was an awesome way to show the movement of the girls being passed around. We enjoyed our turn holding them while most were in the pool having fun.
My journaling for this layout. I created the layout using the scrap of that bold paper from my counterfeit kit mini kit this month and added the black stars paper that was sitting on my scrap desk. Thanks from stopping by today and I look forward to seeing what you create with this fun sketch and link it up over at Sketch N Scrap.

August 2019 Counterfeit Kit Challenge-Mini Kit

Good Morning and welcome :) Today I took on the Mini Challenge this month over at Counterfeit Kit Challenge :)This month the inspiration kit comes from Citrus Twist's main July kit "Best of This Life" and it is found here.

But my inspiration came from the mood board Susan created for a hint of the kit, this is a fun approach to gather a kit:
Image may contain: stripes
I took my colors and patterns from these 6 things :) Lots of fruit going on with that fun lobster too. I was surprised I found a lobster on some paper from a nautical theme paper pad.
I have enough here to make 3-4 layouts :) That bold diagonal had alot of the colors that was on the moodboard and was the black n white stripe. Brought in some nautical paper to qo with the lobster and I just may have the perfect pictures to go with that. Brought in a few neutral paper for backgrounds and to tone down some of those bold colors. 2 alphas and 2 sticker sheets with alphas. Some flairs, chipboard, enamel dots, a paper variety pack in the teal and more stickers that have that rainbow and some stars too.
For today's posting I used those bold colors, pinks and the fun lemons too for this layout:
Grandaughter with the Great Grandkids enjoying some time at Brad's Graduation Party.

Thanks for stopping by and seeing what I'm up too and if you enjoy making kits, enjoy doing a mini every so often too then hop aboard this month and have fun creating over at Counterfeit Kit Challenge

A Great Love Story for a Use Your Stuff Challenge

Good Morning and welcome :) I hope it's a bit cooler where you love, we've been under a heat advisory for the last few days, excessive heat for 2 of those days. So limited scrapping for me during this time as to the heat and no AC in the room.
This week's challenge over at Use Your Stuff challenge blog the theme is ROMANCE!
Your project could be about young love, old love, a romantic movie, date, a significant other, pretty much anything that shows romance to you!

I wasn't expecting this type of title or journaling for the beginning page of our vacation last year with this stop in Canton, OH to see the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Love the stenciling of the hearts about the layout. Added a few foam footballs for the theme of the layout :) A decent selfie too.I used my May counterfeit kit-Enjoy the Road for this quick layout. What made the layout so quick was I done the stenciling days before I made the layout.
I chose to use a layout I created during LOAD519 Day 23 was Love Potion #9 (song by the Searchers) The lyrics of the song tell a story but it's not really a love story! Do you have a story with a happier ending? The technique part of this day was to use hearts.
So this trip is our 25th Anniversary trip so fitting for the prompt, plus it was great to see the Pro Football Hall of Fame, we both enjoyed seeing it, would have to say I probably enjoyed it a wee bit more than Dave as I enjoy football a wee bit more than he does :)
Just a wee bit of journaling for the layout more will come when more pages are created.
My title of the layout thought it was fitting for the prompt.
Thank you for stopping by today I look forward to seeing your creation for this fun challenge over at Use Your Stuff challenge blog

1st Day on Campus LO for Counterfeit Kit Challenge

Good Morning and welcome to the 2nd challenge of the month over at Counterfeit Kit Challenge blog. The 2nd challenge is a sketch challenge. One of my favorite things to go to when I'm creating is a sketch. For me it's an easy, fast way to do a layout or a card. So join us with your kit and I challenge you to play with this sketch:
Using that large doily I added to my kit Countryside for this layout it was fun to create a layout from this sketch:
I created this layout about my Granddaughter's 1st Day on Campus a day for accepted students to spend to get to check out the campus. It maybe been Spring by the calendar but as the background looks not quite spring yet so combine both elements in my layout with the snow flakes and the floral pattern paper.
Had some fun with the clusters on the layout. Using a Blue/Green combo for the layout with various shades of both colors.
Adding a leaf diecut to represent some Spring to the layout with the snowflakes for the snow in the photos.
 bottom cluster
Had fun with the journaling on the layout using some word stickers too as well as my own handwriting.
My granddaughter is on the right and she was with her best friend and roommate that day.

Thanks for stopping by today and I look forward to seeing your creation with this fun sketch :) over at Counterfeit Kit Challenge
