Thank You It's Perfect card for Sketch N Scrap challenge

Good morning and welcome to the 2nd card sketch over at Sketch N Scrap challenge blog. I just loved this card sketch from Lisa and used it for a lovely Thank You card for my granddaughter.

I flipped it, but kept the image part and sentiment in the same place.

Used some scraps from my May counterfeit kit :) and the flower diecuts from my current counterfeit kit. Thanks for stopping by today to see what I created and can't wait to see what you create from this cool sketch over at Sketch N Scrap blog.

Happy Sunshine Moments lo for CKC challenge #1

Good Morning and welcome :) Summer has begun here in PA! We've had our 1st official heat wave and it's been humid too! So the fans run lots here at the house and lots of time outside in the sun too.

Today is the 1st challenge over at Counterfeit Kit Challenge blog and our month's host Tara has challenged us:

My challenge for you today is:
Soaking up the sun!  It's officially summer here in the US, and I have been ready for some sunshine and freedom to just relax and play!  This challenge is to take some of your summer photos and create a layout using your kit to get those memories scrapbooked!!!

So I scrapped some recent photos of us riding our bikes and making the almost 3 mile mark to the Dam and back. Gradually getting some good, fun summer exercise.

Using a sketch from the BYSS facebook group for my design inspiration. I used my kit Lovely Day, using that floral paper, ribbon, lots of stickers from the sticker book, cardstock stickers and some of my forgeries that I made. It actually came together fairly quickly.
Thank you for stopping by today and seeing what I'm up to in my little corner of the world. I hope you join us over at Counterfeit Kit Challenge blog for this fun challenge.

Counterfeit Kit Challenge Forgeries

Hi and good morning :) When I saw the inspirational kit this month for Counterfeit kit Challenge blog, the papers, I saw 2 good papers that would easily be forged.

The pink watercolor paper and the faded green ledger paper, both unique and easily done for myself. So I had planned the pink watercolor paper and myself I did the smooshing technique to come up with a similiar paper: Using these items I was able to create

This wonderful paper that will make a fun backfground

and with these supplies and the stamp set I had in my kit:

I made these 2 pattern papers for some fun scrapping. While I had the stamps out I decided to make some diecuts too from the stamps:

I just may trim out those other 2 suns yet, but some fun diecuts for some layouts I'll create this month. It was fun creating after work and just preparing some things for some future layouts.

You should head over to the Counterfeit Kit Challenge Blog to see what the other Master Forgers came up with with their forgeries!

CKC - June 2021 Kit Reveal - Lovely Day

Good Morning and welcome to my blog, June is here and with a new month comes a new kit inspiration challenge over at Counterfeit Kit Challenge Blog. Tara is our host this month and she has chosen a fabulous kit for us. This is what she says about it: I am so happy to be bringing a colorful kit and I hope that most of you are ready to scrapbook some summer memories!  I chose the August 2020 Cocoa Daisy Backyard Blooms kits for us this month!  As many of you know, I tend to create a HUGE kit each month and the Cocoa Daisy kits are big enough that you can create your own gigantic kit this month too.  LOL! You can check the kits out here.

Fun kit with really pretty colors. We also want to welcome our Guest Designer is May Flaum from Craft With May

Here's a little bit about May:
My name is May Flaum, and I love to craft. My fingers always have some kind of ink or mist or paint on them, and I love to share what I create.  You can find me on my site:  Craft With May, on Instagram, and on her FaceBook group Craft With May.

My kit is a bit small for my usually kits but still plenty to play with throughout the month, I've found after a LOAD month I tend to back off scrapping a bit :) but still have plenty of pictures to scrap from the Spring of this year so glad to see the florals in the inspirational kit to draw from.

Lovely Day

My kit probably has way more embellishments than I'll use but I certainly like choices, lots of layering pieces to play with. Here are my papers:

I fell in love with the plaid as soon as I saw the kit and found lots of fun florals to play with in my floral drawer and I also have this for the one paper to forge

Thanks for stopping by now off you go to see what Tracey has in her kit and it would be great to see some of your kits too this month over at the Community facebook group also today join us for some fun challenges
