Make Today an Adventure LO for Sketch N Scrap Challenge

Good Morning and welcome :) July has come with the heat of Summer and I'm loving it! We could do with some rain, but other than that all is good! We got a fun challenge over at Sketch N Scrap for the day. A wonderful sketch from Lori

I took the sketch and turned it to the right for my photos orientation
I also added an extra picture to mine and lots of journaling about the press. It was pretty cool to see it working. I used my current counterfeit kit The Getaway for my papers and embellishments for the layout. 2022 Congrats card for Sketch N Scrap card sketch challenge

  Hello and welcome to the 1st card sketch of July over at Sketch N Scrap challenge blog. I love this card sketch that Lisa created just a fun one that can be used in so many ways, here's the sketch:

This is what I created from this sketch:

The grandson's Graduation card, I'm blessed to have had a local scrapbooking shop here years ago and was able to get some local school papers and been hoarding it for special projects. This one I fussy cut out one of the patterns on the overall paper for that flower spot on the sketch. Found the quote on a school reference sticker sheet. Using the school colors as I have my on memories of attending that school too. We certainly wish him well off to college and playing football too.

CKC - July 2022 Kit Reveal - The Getaway

 Good Morning and welcome! July it is and I'm here with a new kit for the month. This month I'm the host, but 1st you should have arrived here from Misty's blog. 

As the summer months come into being so does vacations so I thought that this would be a great kit to inspire us to get out those vacation theme scrapbook items and those vacation pictures to be scrapped.

I'm focusing on the May 2022 add-on kit from Citrus Twist

Capture your travel stories with this kit that features alot of Maggie Holmes Round Trip Collection (American Crafts) plus products from Pinkfresh Studio, 49 and Market, and Citrus Twist. This kit contains 12 x 12 patterned paper and embellishments 

I love an awesome travel kit so was drawn to this and loved the color pallet too, mine did stray a bit from the color pallet but I did stay with in the theme and I have lots of vacation photos I want to get scrapped this month.

I brought in 2 paper pads in 6x6 and 4x6 for layering and matting. My mists, inks and any other mixed media supplies I'll pull in as needed.
