Precious Memories LO for Lasting Memories Scrapbook Challenge

Hello :) How are you this cold weekend? I've been trying to stay busy scrapping when I can. This layout came about from this week's challenge over at Lasting Memories Scrapbook Layout Challenge. The theme for February has been - Black + White + one other color and this week that color is Lilac!
Our granddaughter Jessica with her daughter, our great granddaughter Ava having a special moment together. I loved these photos as soon as I seen them on Facebook and knew I would be scrapping them at some point. Found the lilac butterfly paper in my original 100 Pattern Paper pile (yes still have it separate and still working through it :) Also came up with the white border piece from the same pile, I punched with one of my favorite punches.
Looked through my stash for the lilac pieces to embellish with. Found this lilac flower I created awhile back in a stampin up class. So I got to use this for LOAD219: Day 17: Use flowers on your layout.
So created a fun cluster with a handmade flower, buttons, pieces from the frames pack in my kit and the black dazzles stickers. Thank you for stopping by today and I look forward to seeing what you create with this fun challenge you have till Saturday to play along with us over at Lasting Memories.

Daddy's Helper LO for Funday Friday

Good Morning and welcome :) Today is Funday Friday over at Jo's Scrap Shack and with the theme of Anything Goes. Our sponsor for this week's challenge is Little Blue Button Stamps. I used one of their newest digi stamps: Teapot House for my layout:
With the floral bacground of the digi stamp thinking a garden layout would enhance the stamp :)
A close up of the stamp , embellished with buttons and a sticker too :) This layout was created using the prompt for LOAD219 Day 21: Creating contrast by using small and large embellishments on your layout. Using the digi stamp for the large embellishment and the buttons and sticker for the smaller embellishments.
My journaling. I used my current counterfeit kit: Springtime Fresh.
Close up the photos on the layout. My Great-Granddaughters helping out their Dad in the home garden :) So glad to this skill being passed on to the Great-Grandkids :)

American Goldfinch LO for Counterfeit Kit Challenge

Good Morning and welcome :) Today Master Forger Julene has challenge us for the 2nd challenge of the month over at Counterfeit Kit Challenge Blog to feature feathers which is still trendy. Feathers was part of the kit this month and this is what I created with feathers:
I had a set of die-cut feathers is my kit with some paper that I wanted to use too and binge cut some feathers to use on my layout for embellishing, with the theme being birds thought the feathers were a natural embellishment.
I added the black heart washi to enhance the black from the birds colors, punched edges and my journaling
Closeup of the feathers within the title using gold foam backed thickers
Another cluster of feathers and in each cluster I added a word phrase too :) photos of both the male and the female goldfinches
The last cluster of feathers. Thank you for stopping by today :) I look forward to seeing your creation for this fun challenge over at Counterfeit Kit Challenge Blog

Mother's Day layout or Sketch N Scrap challenge

Good Morning and welcome to the 2nd layout challenge over at Sketch N Scrap. Heather has this cool sketch for us to play with :
 No photo description available.
This is what I created using the layout:
A couple of pictures of Tammy and Brandon Mother's Day 2018. I was glad to have this frame paper in my current counterfeit kit: Springtime Fresh for this layout, it worked out perfectly with the sketch. Using washi tape for the border below the title. Adding small clusters to the layout.
I used silver metallic thickers for my title. This came about with the LOAD219 prompt for day 12: Tin Man prompt :) Scrap something or someone you love that was easy :) Techniques was using silvers or metallics :)
 My journaling
Close up of the picture.
Thanks for stopping by today and I look forward to seeing what you create with this fun sketch over at Sketch N Scrap.

Love Hoodies for Use Your Stuff Challenge

Good Morning and welcome to this week's challenge over at Use Your Stuff challenge blog. This week's challenge is Hearts and/or Red/Pink. Lots of heart doilies and lots of red used on this layout:
I love Hoodies! I do they are nice an cozy, always have a front pocket to add anything I may need, usually my phone or my camera and they keep me warm. I will wear a hoodie sooner that I would a jacket, summer is the only time I don't wear them. Now I'm on the lookout for a Christmas Hoodie :)
The golden background paper came from my current counterfeit kit: Springtime Fresh and the prompt idea came from this month's LOAD event of Red Ruby Scissors. LOAD219 Day 7: Story: Scrap about a favorite wardrobe accessory or outfit or Technique: Use red and sparkle on your layout. So I got both prompts on my layout :) Lots of red and lots of sparkle :)
Thank you for stopping by today :) I look forward to seeing your take on this fun challenge over at Use Your Stuff

Authentic Vintage Items for a Lasting Memories Scrapbook layout challenge

Hello and happy Sunday to you :) Quick stop in today to show you the layout I created for this week's challenge over at Lasting Memories Scrapbook Layout Challenge. Our theme for February is Black + White + one other color. This week's challenge color is green! So I went through my counterfeit kit: Springtime Fresh and pulled out the black N white papers and the green too and got a few to work for my grid layout:
This layout came about from inspiration from the current LOAD event LOAD219 Day 9 prompt: Glinda the Good Witch: Story: Scrap a story about something good. Technique: Make your layout pink and sparkly.... or don't, whatever you think is good. And I think this is a good way to do a masculine layout :)
The grandson doing some good helping out at the NCC8 artifact fair for some community service hours for a merit badge.
My counterfeit kit had some fun vintage style papers in it using a light green, black n white polka dot and the green dusting newspaper print for my blocks and I used a green background came up a bit darker and of a grayer color in the photo than what it looks like in real life. Used some black mulberry paper to mat the photos and punched a few hearts and stars to scatter about the layout. Added that bright green ribbon for more texture on the layout :)
Thank you for stopping by today and I look forward to seeing your creation for this fun challenge over at Lasting Memories Scrapbook Layout Challenge.

Good Morning crafty friends :) Have you ever consider being on a design team? If you have now is the time to join the Funday Friday Team! Here are the details:

Hello Friends!
Well the time has come once again! We are looking to add a small handful of  new designers to our FFC Design Team. Most of the ladies on my team have been with me for 3+ years and we have formed a little family and now we would like to expand our family to include some more family members! There is nothing as precious as the friendships we form in this industry. With that being said, if you are wanting to or have ever wanted to design for a team, read on as I am officially on the hunt for some creative people to join us!

Have you been wanting to be on a design team but never try out because you think that your work is not "good" enough? I know that many of you are sitting there answering this question with a "yes, thats me"! I am looking for designers who are not afraid to take a leap and will just dive right on in, feet first! No need to be worried or judgmental on your work. Let me be the judge of that! If you want to be on my design team, take the leap and let me see what you have! Now keep in mind, I am simple and very laid back. I welcome ALL levels of crafters to try out and I want you to know that ALL levels of crafters have the same advantage of being chosen. Jenny at Scrappin Happy Studio. specializes in handmade scrapbook embellishments, such as flair epoxy. All her products are handmade in her home studio, in the beautiful state of Oregon!

You can visit Jenny at her Etsy store and on Instagram

Here is our February double page sketch:

this is what I created with the sketch:
This is the double page layout from our visit to Unkle Joe's Woodshed that we did Oct. 27, 2018 when we went Christmas Shopping in Mill Hall, PA
Left side of the layout I embellished with all kids of sparkly embellishments including the background paper too.
Using a few of the photos from what I printed, it was an interesting store.
Right side of the layout:
I added 3 more photos, feel in love with that Patriotic Christmas Tree, they had some many trees decorated by theme it was pretty darn cool. Another picture of the general store itself, some unique gifts there. I added more sparkle with the red & white candy stripe paper. Adding some of the embellishments from the left side over to this side of the page. Added the blue for another color to the layout :) I liked the way it turned out.
Thank you for stopping by and I look forward to seeing your creation of this fun sketch over at Stick It Down.

CKC - February 2019 Kit Reveal - Springtime Fresh

Good Morning :) and welcome to February inspiration for this month's Counterfeit Kit challenge blog. First you should have reached me from the creative Cindy's blog so excited to see what she pulled together for this inspiration. This month Julene has challenged us with something from Kaisercraft. First let's welcome this month's guest Forger Kim Ferguson
The KIT to be counterfeited

If this doesn't work go to the Kaisercraft home page and search Anthology.

There is also a YouTube of the unboxing by Alicia Macnamara

For those who want it "in the flesh", here it is.

First thing I thought when I saw the kit was the vintage feel too it plus the Spring feel too it too :) As we're really having a heck of a cold snap right now so ready for Spring and thinking my kit will put me in that mood :)
I pulled both the A and B sides of the paper for my kit.

My February counterfeit kit is Springtime Fresh:

It's a very huge kit! 46 papers alone :) lots of choices for layering :) With it being LOAD month I want to be well prepared :) Also will be participating in a fun Scrappy Super Bowl challenge too. The bottom right corner is a die cut set and paper pad for making feathers for the kit (my forgeries for the month)
 The papers:
Love the greens that I pulled to scrap with, not a color I use alot but looking forward to using it with the pops of pink in the kit :) I also added 5 cutaparts to the kit too. The bottom row less the cutaparts each paper has birds on it :)
Close ups of part of the kit:
 Doilies and diecuts
Variety of Alphas
 More diecuts
A late addition too the kit I found this paper pad and it had the library catalog drawers in it :) Cool plus there is birds, florals buffalo plaids, stripes, wood and farm animals great addition to the kit :)
Thanks for stopping by and off you go to see what Julene has crafted up for her it this month. If you get lost here is the list of the blog hop for this month:
