I used this lovely digital stamp Beautiful Blocks Thought and Prayers for the front of my card. I used my current counterfeit kit:  Spring Flings and Easter Things. The paper is scraps from another project and added a few dazzles on the card

The Unusual Ones layout for a Sketches in Thyme Project Life Style

Hello again :) If you are looking for the Sketch N Scrap post you will find it here.

Some of the tractors we saw at the Portersville Steam Show in 2004 :) featured in this layout. First though the title block of the layout came from this fun Project Life sketch over at Sketches in Thyme Project Life Style. I fell into the craze of Project Life cards when it first came out thinking I would transition inot Project Life scrapbooking, but didn't fall in love with it so now I try to use them in my Scrapbooking, which I do love to do. Finding that these fun sketch challenges help with this and a good way to add a project life card to a layout. So this mid-month sketch:
Now, on to Sketch #100 - courtesy of Emma!
this is what I created for this challenge:
Using my current counterfeit kit for this card and for the layout. This is the title block for the grid style layout I made:
I framed the pictures within this vintage style pattern paper with torn edges. The title block gives it a current edgy look to the layout. Adding a couple of fussy cut arrows for the clusters on the layout and to journal blocks to finish off the grid style layout.
close up of the layout and the tractor pictures
 My journaling
and the title block shown on the layout. Thank you for stopping by today and seeing what I created today and I look forward to seeing your creation for this fun sketch challenge over at Sketches in Thyme Project Life Style.

Unicorn Happy Birthday card for Funday Friday challenge

Good Morning and welcome :) We finally got to see a bit of Spring in our area of PA :) with warmer temps the past couple of days and climbing higher today, yah it makes me happy to see the colors finally changing for Spring and the new beginnings of the flowers and nature itself :).
Today is Friday! Yep Friday the 13th! But it is also Funday Friday :) over at Jo's Scrap Shack where the weekly challenge is always Anything Goes. Our Sponsor this week is  Digital Delights by Louby Lou!
I was given this fun Unicorn digi stamp to create with this week and this is the card I created:
The diagonal paper from my counterfeit kit: Spring Flings and Easter Things, dictated how I was coloring the stamp :) I also used clear wink of stella to give a little glitter to the car. The sentiment came from my Paper Issues Swag Bag this month :) Love it for one of the younger Great Grandgirls.
Thanks for stopping by today and don't forget to link your creation up over at Jo's Scrap Shack.

Easter Chip Tree 2017 layout for Counterfeit Kit Challenge #1

Good Morning :) Counterfeit Kit Challenge  #1 Challenge is Easter! Easter is a big deal at our house with yearly Easter Egg hunts for the grandkids :) so lots of fun memories to scrap.
I have created a double page layout from one of the highlights from last year's Easter Egg Hunt from my kit Spring Flings and Easter Things
The chip tree always finishes off the Easter Egg hunt each year :) It's always fun to watch the kids go at it.
I used this sketch over at the 100 Pattern Paper challenge facebook group for this layout:
https://scontent.fagc1-2.fna.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-9/29386085_10156068344977508_2250830370847064064_n.jpg?_nc_cat=0&_nc_eui2=v1%3AAeHC3mb9c6y_R9lGvWkLxZCYa3tV4K9TFbVV7bsvYbyRykDVwBqjMZU4z6A9mjVHtPqs1aL5oFh5LxjfY7hxAkVWt3A49frbnO2maQbgfu7Tvg&oh=8c39acd92945c0f083ab01adc9831593&oe=5B5E640F
I stuck to it pretty good and it had a spot to show case all my photos too
Close up photos:

The left side of the layout. Everyone waiting for Grandpa to say Go! The title was created with the letter paper that was in my kit and used soft pastel color floral paper for my backgrounds and matted my photos with bolder stripe paper.
The Right hand side include the Go! pictures and my journaling.
 The title work
Used Heidi Swapp Gold color shine for splatters
Include the bling foil stickers of Easter Eggs that were in my kit
My journaling

For the collab with The Studio Challenges. Challenge is use a song or lyric on your page, I used the song title for Niall Horan - This Town

I also used one of the lyrics from the song to start off my journaling
The Left side of the layout:
The Right side of the layout:
Close up photos of the layout:
This was part of the Historical walk through Down Town Williamsport and I added the information about the stop to the layout.
The title, I used that one red piece of pattern paper that was in my March counterfeit kit: Florally Whimsy for the triangles in the layout. I used an alpha that I found in my tote bag when I was at the crop in March.
close up of the building. My only real embellishing was the rubons I used throughout the layout.
Thank you for stopping by today and I look forward to seeing what you created for this fun sketch from Stick It Down blog.

Slap Happy layout for a Use Your Stuff challenge

Good Morning and welcome :) Chris has challenge us this week to see projects about Easter or Spring over at Use Your Stuff challenge blog. I went with a sweet Spring day for a layout:
A nice Spring day captured :) This was day 14 prompt of LOAD218 A morning we spent together :) Getting flower bulbs and then planing them too :) Prompt was to honor a strong woman (even ourself), using Red, Pink, White color scheme and/or some hearts. So I used all 3 prompts for the day.
 My journaling
My title and acrylic word I received with my Cheeky Studio
package I received for a previous DT assignment. The flower diecuts came from that package too. I also used my Feb counterfeit kit: Pretty Little Pastimes for the background paper and the chipboard embellishments
 Close up of the pictures.
Thank you for stopping by today and I look forward to seeing your creation to this fun challenge this week over at Use Your Stuff challenge blog.

CKC - April Kit Reveal - Spring Flings and Easter Things

Good Morning and welcome to the 2nd post of the day. If you are looking for the Sketch N Scrap post you can find it here.

Today is the 1st of April and that means it's a Counterfeit Kit Challenge new kit inspiration and I got to choose this month's kit for the inspiration. You would have come here from Julene's blog and I expect to see a marvelous kit from here we have alot in common with kits we both enjoy big kits :)
We have a fantastic Guest Designer this month playing along Miss Annie Claxton make sure to stop by and give her a warm welcome :)
This month's inspiration comes from: Button Farm Club “Everyday Documented Page Kit April

These kits are exclusively designed by Vicki Boutin for the Button Farm Club. I just loved this kit when I saw it, just has the colors of Spring and here in Pennsylvania we are so ready for Spring!
This is the kit I created:

Spring Flings and Easter Things

Oh my gosh I just love the kit I created this month makes my heart so happy and looking forward to scrapping Spring and warmer days this month with this fun kit. I went a little crazy with gathering embellishments and the alphas for my kit, but I'm good with that.
My papers:
I embraced the sunny colors, pastels and lots of florals too. Found lots of butterflies on lots of papers and grabbed those too.
Wood veneers, didn't have any florals like they had in the kit but these I got for Christmas and it's time to use them.
Fun die cut and acrylic pieces to use about my layouts
Stickers of Spring and stickers of Easter to use on my layouts
grabbed a few word phrase stickers
and some odds and ends too. The Heidi Swapp package I added on a whim thinking it'll be fun to try to incorporate into my crafting this month.
Dazzles to bring some glitter to my layouts
And the Alphas, yes lots of those in variety of colors too.
Well that is my kit for this month I may be able to kill the paper part of the kit but don't think I'll be able to kill the embellishment part of it but look forward to using up some old die cuts and maybe some new packs of embellishments too.
I look forward to seeing what inspires you to create with this inspiration this month. So off you go and check out what beauty of a kit Lisa has come up with :) I heard from a birdie that she may have went rouge this month so I'm excited to see what she did!

I flipped it side to side for my layout. Now I have the title on the opposite side of the layout:
I added an extra photo to the layout too. Love the layering on the sketch to include on my layout too.
My journaling I used a silver pen
 My title
and a close up of the photos. These are about the end of the pictures from this trip, just enough for one more layout. I used my current counterfeit kit:  Florally Whimsy and the background paper came from my 100 Pattern Paper pile.
