Cozy Days Together LO

Playing along with Pinkfresh Studio celebrating iNSD with their challenge of ANYTHING GOES while using their "the best day" collection I created this layout and it's the 2nd layout I made that day. Loved using just one collection for creating a fast layout!

Everything on this layout is from that collection except for the pictures :) Just about got the papers from this kit kicked! Love me some Pinkfresh Studio :)

I took on this challenge by combinging it with my LOAD layout of the day too

Using my Butterfly Zone kit and 3 photos of my scrapbook room, including a selfie in my room to tell 3 things I love about scrapbooking.

Thank you for stopping by today and seeing what I'm up to in my little corner of the world. I hope you join us over at Counterfeit Kit Challenge blog for this fun challenge.

Extra! Extra! LO for Sketch N Scrap challenge

Good Morning and welcome to the blog again :) I'm out and about this weekend working on transplanting flowers that I started in February. The weather is cooperating enough to get it done. But I have another layout for you:
We got a fun challenge over at Sketch N Scrap for the day. A wonderful sketch from Heather to play with today.
This is a very interesting sketch and this is my creation:
I come across a kit I put together that had this fun newspaper print and it had sticker sheets that had the triangles so I cut up some pattern paper for more triangles for that edge of the sketch. A little history from my home town that I'm still creating with the photos that I took that day during my walk. I kept the embellishments minimal so the focus is on the story. Thanks for stopping bu my little corner today and seeing what I'm creating.
So now it's your turn let's see what you can do with the sketch. Thanks for stopping by today to see what I created and can't wait to see what you create from this cool sketch over at Sketch N Scrap blog.

Let It Snow for Sketch N Scrap challenge

Good Morning and welcome :) We are starting to see some warmer weather here where I live and lots of Spring flowers popping up here and there. We are celebrating the 10th Birthday of  Sketch N Scrap with a big sketch party over at the Facebook community page. Here is 10th Birthday Bash Sketch #1  A wonderful sketch from Lisa to play with today.
Such a fun sketch! Here is what I created with it:

I recently got my March and April 2022 photos printed and we got quite a bit of snow in March so lots of snowing layouts coming to the blog :) I looked through some of my Christmas/ Winter paper and found this 3 pattern papers that were perfect to use with this sketch for my layout, adding 2 more photos to I have 3 for my layout :) See how easy it is to add more photos to a layout when the sketch asks for 1 photo as I take more pictures than that! LOL

We hope this layout has inspired you & that you will find time to play along with us this month!  ***Please note our throwback birthday bash challenges will only be posted in our private Facebook group, so make sure you have joined this fun group so you can play along!!***  You can ask to join HERE

CKC - May 2022 Kit Reveal - Butterfly Zone

Hey it's May! May is one of my favorite month's as it's our Anniversary month, it has (I)National Scrapbooking Day, a month full of LOAD, Sketch N Scrap having their 10th Birthday and it's the 1st of May so that means it's a new counterfeit kit too. So many reasons to be scrapping this month and I need a great kit to make it happen. So let's check out the inspiration for the month. First you should have arrived here from our Guest Designer's spot Dawn  https://www.instagram.com/dawn.cervo/ I'm excited to see what she has put together this month. Kate is our host this month and she chose the kit is called "Sweet Life" from Scrapbook Doodle and their kit mainly focused on Bo Bunny's Sweet Life Collection:

Kate says: I came across this kit quite by accident, I was looking at the various kit sites we have linked in our blog area and this kit caught my eye because ya'll know I love butterflies!

A sunny collection full of bright buttercup yellow, pinks and a striking navy blue. I feel like navy blue needs a major comeback; it's so versatile and a great neutral, she said and I have to agree I feel Navy needs to make a major comeback and great to see it in so many of the newer kits.

This is the kit I pulled together

Butterfly Zone

I was drawn the Simple Stories Simple Vintage Indigo Garden in my stash for the Navy, yellow and pink in the inspiration kit had the colors and the butterflies, adding Pinkfresh The Best Day and some Cocoa Vanilla These Days. Then I added some old stash: K&Company, Foof-a-La, My Mind's Eye, Cloud 9 Design, Amy Tangerine, Authentique and Pink Paislee, plus some odd ball ones that had no info. The papers:

The close ups of the embellishments
Brought in the 8x8 paper pad, planning to bash this one before the end of the month
The embellishments for Simple Vintage Indigo Garden
Embellishments for Pinkfresh Studios The Best Day, brought in the navy with the alphas, white ribbon and the only polka dot one I have and that's in purple, Prima flowers and a variety of enamel dots. My mists, inks and any other mixed media supplies I'll pull in as needed.
Thanks for stopping by today. First I need to see what the other girls have pulled together and a good place to start is over at Tracey's blog  I'm excited to see how the inspiration moved her for her kit :) and if you get lost here is the full list
