Smile LO for Sketch N Scrap Sketch Challenge

Good Morning and welcome to the middle of the month! Wow where did that go, it's moving way to fast. We have a fantastic sketch from Heather Hall this month to play with here at Sketch N Scrap
Image may contain: text
This is what I created:
Watching birds makes me smile, I do enjoy the hobby. I used part of a border paper for my edging and then that scrap of green diagonal, plus a pretty floral for the background paper. They all came from my current counterfeit kit: Pretty Purple Flutter. I even fussy cut some of the elements on the layout from the paper I got the border strip from :)
Thanks for stopping by today and I look forward to seeing what you create with this fun sketch over at Sketch N Scrap challenge blog

Grandma layout for Counterfeit Kit Challenge #1

Good Morning and welcome :) The 1st challenge for Counterfeit Kit Challenge is here! for this month and Julene has challenged us for the 1st challenge of the month with:

The patterns and colours in this kit made me immediately think of my great grandmother, who always wore small dark floral dresses.
I’ve added some Liberty floral prints to the Pinterest page to maybe inspire you.

Your challenge is to scrap a page about a matriarch, past or present, in your family using a floral paper/theme.
Interesting challenge it is :) The 1st thing that came to mind was my Gram :) I remember here in floral house-dresses. She took care of us when we were young, while my parents worked. I remember being there during the week and I was blessed to have a cousin there too. Someone to play with :) So I found one photo of us together and use that to scrap and also the house that I remember Gram had before they moved in the trailer. Got a picture of the house thinking maybe 2013.

Started with the overall floral print I had in my kit and used the CTMH kit with it. Added the doily and used a doily punch too. The butterflies and buttons were in the kit but not liking the florals that I had in the kit I brought in ones that matched more with the paper.
Close up photos :) There is me with Gram I had to be about 4 years old.
The house she once had, I remember it well as my Aunt Marie lived there when Gram moved to the trailer.
Thanks for stopping by today and Can't wait to see what you create for this fun challenge over at Counterfeit Kit Challenge

Stars Happy Birthday Card for Sketch N Scrap challenge

Good Morning and welcome to the 1st card challenge of the month over at Sketch N Scrap
This fun sketch was created Heather :
No photo description available.
I needed a card for Albert so I thought this was a fun sketch to create him a Birthday card:
Using stars for the border instead of the flowers :)
The inside of the card brought in the brown pattern paper and the stars too. I used my Sept Counterfeit Kit: Quite Brawny for my card creation too. Thanks for stopping by today and I look forward to seeing what you create from this fun sketch over at Sketch N Scrap

Good Dog LO for a Use Your Stuff challenge-Critters

Yay for an Early Spring! He has spoken and didn't see he's shadow :) Love this now to see if it happens :)
In honor of this critter's answer we at Use Your Stuff challenge blog are in a collaboration with Double Trouble:
Our theme for you this week in honor of Groundhog Day on the 2nd is to create a project that has CRITTERS....it could be something that highlights a pet, or a stamped image with some animals on it, maybe it's the PP that you use with those birds, ducks, moose!  Whatever tickles your fancy!

Now for an added twist, we are partnering in this challenge with Double Trouble Challenges!

Double Trouble Paper Crafting

You want to make sure to head over to their blog as well and incorporate their challenge themes into your project for a chance to win...just click on this link .
Easy enough for me :) with Buddy in our life I have the critter challenge under control :)
My layout is of my Buddy :) my favorite critter. Using an older paper pad I got years ago in a swap for my layout of Buddy. Lucky enough to get the right picture while he had his tongue out making it extra special. I had fun creating this layout and really love how it turned out too.
Now it's your turn! I look forward to see what you create for this fun challenge over at Use Your Stuff challenge blog

Welcome Kate Blue she's our Guest Mater Forger this month here’s a link to Kate’s blog https://kateblue.blogspot.com/  Blues Blog & My Scrappin' Fascination. It was the thought of “blue” in the kit that made me think of her.

Look at that gorgeousness! Oh my! I was drawn very quickly to the blues and purples and the florals and the butterflies, so my kit consisted of a of this in it.

This is my kit Pretty Purple Flutter:

Lots of colors, lots of textures and lots of Butterflies! I really enjoyed pulling this kit together and think I'll have a blast playing with it this month.
The papers I've chosen came from a few patter paper pads I have that I knew had butterflies in it, plus I got some Stampin Up paper and Close To My Heart paper in there too! (My goal for this year)
The alphas and words I chose, plus I need to add a gold one yet
Lovely sticker set and look the brads even match nicely, The paper mat pad looks like a great was to add more color to the kit
Found some flair, wood veneer, purple scrumptiousness in enamels and florals. Founds some butterfly die cuts
Found a bumble bee amongst my die cuts and I got a strawberry layout ready to do so I added that die cut too. Wood veneer doilies in 3 colors, wood veneer butterflies, wood buttons too. Added the floral felt and the flower die cut packs makes me think Spring is on it's way!
