Christmas Card from the Pooch for a Sketch N Scrap challenge

Yes in our house the fur child gives out a gift :) Something I carried over from my family. I remember Dad would have this special box for Mom and he would say it was from Murphy (on of our pets) I would laugh cause I knew who it was from :) But we would humor Dad, now I understand what Dad was doing and have carried on that tradition in our house :P So this is the card that will be from Buddy to Pops :) and I got a bit of help making from today's sketch over at Sketch N Scrap:
No automatic alt text available.
This sketch will be awesome to use up your scraps too :) just love it :) and this is the card I created:
Now all I need to do is put a note in on the inside :)
Don't for get there is a crop going on this month too. We would love for you to play along
Image may contain: stripes
Thanks for stopping by today and seeing what I'm up too in my little corner of the world :)

Holidays Together a Lasting Memories Scrapbook challenge

Hello :) Today is a Lasting Memories Scrapbook challenge:
Here is our challenge:
LM #375 - Winter/December Holiday Traditions - Use more than 2 photos on your layout.

Keeping with our theme, create a layout with more than 2 photos to use up that stash of holiday photos.
I have 5 pictures on my layout. This is one of our favorite Holiday Traditions when going to Tammy's house playing a game with the family :) From Christmas 2015 these pictures were taken. Changes have happened since then. But the same tradition continues. This layout was created during LOAD1017 Day 24: I’ve got a secret…
…handshake – document a family tradition or an inside joke.
I went with the family tradition for the prompt :) Using a Close To My Heart collection this layouut came together relatively easy. I used a sketch I found googling sketches. It's great to have a sketch and a paper collection to make a layout quickly :) Just under an hour to create this layout.

 My journaling for the layout.
Close up of the title cluster
and the other cluster. We had a fun time that night and enjoyed playing the charades style game. We would love to see your Winter/ Holiday Tradition photos on a layout. I look forward to seeing your creation for this fun challenge soon.

Holly Jolly Christmas card for Funday Friday challenge

Hello and happy Funday Friday :) I've been very busy as we all are with the holidays ahead and looking forward to enjoying time with family before the New Year. So not to much crafting happening this month with my work schedule but looking forward too creating the week I'm off of work :)
Today over at Jo's Scrap Shack our challenge is Always Anything Goes. Our sponsors this week are Bugaboo and Little Blue Button Stamps. I had gotten The Christmas Elements digi stamps  from Little Blue Button stamps and talk about a great set of stamps. Here is another card I created with those stamps:
I had fun creating this card using Christmas paper scraps :) and added a punched border that I did one day awhile back when I was doing so binge punching :) good way to use up scraps too. I used a sketch for my card inspiration:
No automatic alt text available.
This sketch is from Sketch N Scrap: Be Merry & Bright Crop you can find out more about the crop here
Close up of the stamp colored with bic markers and the gold icing was colored with a gold Wink of Stella brush :) Love using the brushes :)
The inside is ready for a sentiment to add to it :) Making some more Christmas cards just incase I need them :) Thanks for stopping by today and I look forward to seeing what you create for this fun challenge :)

Christmas is Coming challenge for Use Your Stuff Blog

Good Morning and happy Monday to you :) Ah Christmas is Coming! How are you doing this month? We are surprisingly doing well :) Got almost all the gifts purchased, wrapping yesterday and just a few more days to complete that task, plus my personal wrapping too. We got fun plans for the weekend in our Ugly Sweaters something new that Dave has been excited about and the decorating which looks like will be during the week before Christmas. Some day I coaxed Dave into doing it sooner :) Just 2 weeks away... yes it is coming!
One thing I was well prepared on was making cards this year for Christmas with Christmas in July with a fun yahoo group I belong too called Scrappin N Chattin so was able to include this card for this week's challenge over at Use Your Stuff challenge: Christmas is Coming!
Lots of gold on this card and a fun sentiment I got off a Christmas sticker set. The tree came out a pack of die cuts I found at a yard sale that had a variety of die-cuts for throughout the year :) Thank you for stopping by today and I look forward to seeing your creation for this fun challenge over at Use Your Stuff challenge blog :)

Never Giving Up layout

Hello again :) This is the 2nd layout posted today:
This was one of the stops on the Self Guided Historical Walking Tour of Downtown Williamsport. The First Presbyterian church of Williamsport, corner of Third and Mulberry streets, was organized, February 23, 1833. Previous to this time there was no church of this denomination in Williamsport
A congregation that never Gave Up (hence the title)
This layout I created this morning for the 100th Sketch over at The Memory Nest. Sadly this is the last sketch for the time being, I will be missing this blog as she always has awesome sketches:
More layering on this sketch :) I added it to my layout too. I used paper from my 100 pattern paper challenge pile. Close up shots of the layout:
The write up information from the tour
 My journaling
The title work. I added just sequin flowers with brads for my embellishment
2 different views of the church from the front side on 3rd Street and from the Mulberry Street side. A very large church. I would like to go inside some day and see what that looks like. On to the next stop of the tour.
Thank you for stopping by today ans see what I'm doing in my little corner of the world.....

Adulting Today layout

I created this layout from the help of LOAD1017 I've got a Secret Day2:
…to successful adulting document how you stay organized
Not the planner type girl more of the post-it, list it on a scrap of paper type girl. Used scraps from SS Daily Grind collection for the layout:
I also got inspiration for the layout from a sketch over at The Memory Nest #95
Love the layering of the sketch :) I'm not one for huge letters for a title, but I used the largest ones on the sticker sheet that came with the Daily Grind collection.

Close up of the pictures. We use a planner for our daily journaling
The title.
Thanks for stopping by today :) Will have the last sketch needed for the Fall Frenzy challenge over at The Memory Nest up in a bit :) Need to make 1st :)

To Cool For School

This layout was created from LOAD1017 I've got a secret Day 6: …pasta school memory:
This prompt brought back lots of memories and this is the one I chose to tell that day. Yes I did do that :) I guess I was in a stage in preteen year that I just didn't want to go to school. If I remember correctly thinking I was 12 when this happened cause I think Steve was still in school so either 12 or 13. Oh my did I get when Mom and Dad came home from vacation!
I got a bit of help with this layout from the Sketch over at The Memory Nest #97
What a fun sketch to play with :) I love to use sketches just makes my scrapping so easy :) and quick too. Something that is needed during LOAD month.
 My journaling
Close up of the title block and photo
I found this fun meme online to include in the layout :) Thanks for stopping by once again to see what I'm up to in my little corner of the world :)

What's Cookin'?

Hello :) Getting some layouts that I did during LOAD1017 posted for the challenges that I made them for. This layout was from LOAD1017 I've got a secret Day 25: …talent – find something to scrap that people would be surprise to know that you are good at.
On prompted with a twist, it's not much of a secret about our cooking skills I've scrapped many foodie layouts in various prompts :) So just a couple of dishes we made this summer. I needed a quick layout today:
I had fun creating this layout and I got some inspiration help from The Memory Nest's sketch #98
I just had so much fun playing with this sketch.
Some close ups of the layout.

I had fun using embellishments for my title. Thanks for stopping by today and seeing what I'm up to in my little corner of the world :)

December Daily 2017

If you are looking for the FundayFriday post you can find it here

Yep I'm gonna give this a try again this year :) Here is my kit for it:
I won the Merry and Bright paper pad in July along with a stamp set, washi tape and ephemera pack to start off my kit. I added some fun paper, washi tapes I got last year at clearance time and a few things I recently got to make my kit complete :)
This is my album it comes from Close To My Heart just need to dress it up more like a Christmas album.
and this album comes with premade pages perfect for the Dec Daily just need to dress it with the Christmas paper. This page here I need to add something to it yet just not sure what :) So it has begun and lets see if I get through the whole month :) I'll be using a list that was created for the facebook group 100 Pattern Paper challenge.
Thanks for stopping by today and seeing what I'm doing in my little corner of the world and Happy December to you!

December Daily Day 1 for a Funday Friday challenge

Good Morning and welcome to my blog :) Yep it's Saturday, but due to difficulties I wasn't able to get the post up on Friday. Looks like it's gonna be a fun and busy month ahead :)
over at Jo's Scrap Shack for the Always Anything Goes challenge our sponsor for this challenge is DigiStamps 4 Joy  I got to use a sweet digistamp from DigiStamps 4 Joy for my Day 1 page of my Dec Daily:
I've got room yet for my picture that I'll be getting printed this weekend. With it being the beginning of Dec thought a wintery look for the image would work, but you can see it as another season from my DT sister.
Here is a closeup of the stamp. I used stickles to give it some sparkle and used some white flock for the snow :) Think I'll be using both the stickles and the flock throughout the month.
Close up of the top of the page. Thanks for sopping by and seeing what I'm up to in my little corner of the world. I'll be linking up my page over at Let's December Daily
Our Sponsor this week is:
The winner will win $10 worth of digis to their online store!

Rider Park for Stick It Down sketch reveal

If you are looking for the Sketch N Scrap post you can find it here

Good morning and Happy December to you! Wow I can't believe it's the last month of 2017 where in the heck did it go!
We got an awesome sketch to play with this month over at Stick It Down. This is the double sketch challenge sketch
and this is what I created with this sketch:
What a fun way to create this layout :) I took the essence of the sketch to use for my layout and added a few more pictures for the 2nd page of the layout than what was in the sketch as I love to take photos :)
The left side of the layout:
I created a pocket for the brochures we got there and my title comes from the newspaper article about the open house. Included one photo on this side of the layout.
 The pocket
 My journaling
The title
This is the right side of the layout:
I included the photos and a map we got that day of all the exhibitors and walking paths around the area of the park.
She the falcon stole the show today, an awesome exhibit this was and we learned that we are not cutting our holes in our birdhouses right and need to do a better job with that next year. Also we have falcons in the area and to encourage them to stay we need to create birdhouses for them too.
A couple other pictures and the map. I was so glad to get this layout done and in the books still a few more for 2017 that need done, but other than my DT projects this month most of my focus this December is working on my December Dailies for the past year and this year too.
I look forward to seeing your creation for this sketch over at Stick It Down.

Let the Journey Begin.... for a Sketch N Scrap challenge

Hello December and hello to a new sketch for Sketch N Scrap:
No automatic alt text available.
I just loved using this sketch and it went so quickly too for my layout:
This was the 1st exhibit we saw in Honesdale. This coal wagon was sitting outside of the Vistor's Center where we got our tickets. I got the cool postcard at the museum showing the wagon in action when it was used.
 my journaling
The stamped image of a coal train car. I've been using an image of a train of somesort throughout these layouts from the daytrip.
 closeup of the photos/postcard
My title came from a recollections quote sticker
and I added another sticker here to above the photos
Thanks for stopping by and seeing what I'm up too, I look forward to seeing your creation for this sketch over at Sketch N Scrap.
