Hi all, if you came from the Card A Day Blog welcome to my blog, to my followers welcome too. I got to start off the week with the new theme, Friendship.
Friendship
cards can be one of the easiest cards to make cause you could be
serious, loving, quirky and fun as just a few of the options for a card.
Mine today is a bit on the sunny side with all it's bright colors. I made the card in our Stampin' Up class last month and it was the perfect card for this theme.
The card base is SU Certainly Celery cardstock (A hot color with the teens right now, I have 2 grand-daughters that love this color). The background was first stamped from the Mixed Bunch stamp set in Rose Red ink on Daffodil Delight cardstock, edges inked too and then cut into quarters to give a shadowed look background. Then the stamp was stamped again on Blushing Bride cardstock with Regal Rose ink and punched out with the blossom punch and popped up.
I have to give credit here to Stampin' Up for making some cool punches to work with their stamped images they turn out so nice.
The 3 borders are Daffodil Delight border punched with SU Eyelet border, Blushing Bride cardstock strip stamped with the Regal Rose ink not sure what stamp was used for the sentiment and a strip of Certainly Celery 1/4" grosgrain ribbon. A sweet card for your sweet friend.
Thanks for stopping by my corner of the world. Have a fantastic day!
