I used Creative Pointe's Love You Card for my Valentine project.
You get all the pieces needed for the card with choice of a non word front too, which I see could be used for a journaling block for a layout :)
I used the heart cardstock from SU for my card base. I cut the heart out of a DCWV foil cardstock pad (really shines well in person) and the love you was cut from designer pattern paper. All the papers were in my current counterfeit kit other than the foil that was in last month's kit. I used the Wink of Stella Brush for the glittery on the letters. I had a problem squeezing a bit hard at the beginning and the "e" got saturated with the glitter :) It was really easy to use after that and gives a nice shimmery look to the letters
I also decorated the inside of the card and now it's ready for a message from me to the hubby. I created a liner for the card in my Silhouette program very easily. I found the soft flocked hear in my box of things I kept aside for other projects that worked out great here. A strip of the hear paper and a sticker I found on an alpha sheet. Thanks for stopping by today and enjoy the weather no matter where you live :)

Beautiful...especially using the metallic paper!!
ReplyDeleteDazzling.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful Valentine card Tina! I love the papers you used especially that shiny paper. It looks great with the rustic paper. We only got a little bit of snow, around 2 inches with a little dusting on it throughout the day. Still snowing some but not yielding up. Funny how they were calling for 5 to 7 inches for us and we didn't get it. lol So much for the weathermen calling these snow storms this year. Stay warm, supposed to be cold, cold, cold! Hugs, Brenda
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet card!!!
