Drywall Completed

Yea the drywall is completed, I came home from work yesterday and Dave was putting primer on the ceiling and the walls of my craftroom. The finallity of the room is nearing the end, it should go pretty quickly now. I am so looking forward to this room being done, where I can have my little spot in the house to craft at anytime that the mood strikes me. To have everything laid out till fully completed instead of doing a part and moving it out of the way for a meal or the unexpected company arriving. I'm hoping that by Memorial Day I may be in the room, that would be a great Anniversary gift. I have been taking pictures during the whole process. I even purchased items specifically to scrap the renovating of the room. Can't wait to share it all with you.
Okay now I should get back into the mode of crafting and what I have done lately. April was a month of birthdays in our household and I shown off a few of the cards that I have done. So I have another birthday card that I made for my youngest granddaughter Isabelle.

Albert's name for Isabelle is princess, for as long as Isabelle's been here this is what he lovingly calls her, so that brought about the theme for this card. The crown and birthday girl came from the Storybook cartridge. Pink is such a girlie color that it was used in various tones throughout on the card. It was a fun card to do and make. The ribbon came from a scrapbook kit I received, used various papers in my collection of scrapbook paper. This card was submitted to the BBTB2 challenge-crown.
I hope you all have fantastic day....

  1. What a pretty card, definetly fit for a Princess! Oh and I feel for you with the drywall, that is the worst part of building. So messy but so worth it in the end, lol! Thanks for joining in this week at BBTB2!
