Hi you all and welcome to Counterfeit Kit Challenge August Blog Hop.
With a Backyard Fun scrapbook LO.
If you are coming from the amazing Jemma's blog then your right on track. The challenges this month are:
Challenge #1: One Layer Challenge: No paper layering allowed - just embellishments.
Challenge #2: Sketch Challenge: Stretch this card sketch to suit you.
Challenge #3: Vellum: Incorporate vellum into your project.
I used Vellum on my layout with decorative edges. That is one cool thing about vellum it makes a nice accent edge to a layout.
All the elements that are on the layout comes from my current counterfeit kit. I cut up a PL card for the pennants throughout the layout.
I used the stamped heart on one pennant and altered the pattern paper with adding the same blue stamping hearts
Lots of fun in the backyard during this get together and this is the boys layout vs the girls layout I did last month.
Lots of fun pieces scattered about the layouts
Various cuts used.
and the journaling tag. Thanks for stopping by today and seeing what I'm up to in my little corner of the world.

ReplyDeleteThis looks like a nice cool summer's afternoon with your family. They were having such fun, and how well you've captured the memories with this awesome page. Love all the added decorations to enhance your pictures, and those banners are yummy. Had to go back & look again, to see that some were vellum. So clever of you to jazz up the paper design with your own stamping too. TFS & Hugs.
