My July Counterfeit Kit for the Challenge

Hello :) I guess if I'm going to play along with this month's Counterfeit Kit Challenge I had better get it put together and posted. My goal this month was Christmas in July, but I also want to do some other layouts too besides Christmas so this kit is perfect for those layouts :)

Here is Geometric Splatter

Our inspiration came from the Walden Pond kit from August 2016 at Cocoa Daisy.

Very bright colors and very summer colors too plus lots of shapes.
I grabbed most of my 12 X 12 papers from my 100 pattern paper pile (trying to whittling through that). I also went to my 6X6 paper pads and my 4X6 paper pads for papers that resembled some of the inspirational kit. Lots of scraps and the cardstock and word stickers is CTMH that are in the same colors as the kit.
I just grabbed my buttons container, some thread that I want to get used, my container of miscellaneous pieces that get thrown in occasionally, some glitter stickers in the same color and some tags I had out from last month's kit.
My alphas & words: Some vellum or close to vellum, a sticker sheet with words and letters, 2 more fun alphas and Tim Holtz  Chit Chat stickers
 Washi tape and ribbon
and I also added a pack of project life cards as I have lots and lots of these and should start using them up :) Clearance sales always draws me into these things :)
Thanks for stopping by today to see what I'm up too and it would be cool of you wanted to join in and play along :)

  1. Looks good and true to the name you've chosen. And, yes, clearance sales are both a blessing and a curse, aren't they?

  3. I love the grabbing and including that went on here and it's a great kit, as always Tina! Super job at bringing out the colours and patterns and making it your own. Christmas in July is something I'd love to get involved in but it's not going to happen this year now!
