A Doll's House

Hi you all welcome back to another post today :) I finished up this layout last night so I wasn't able to post it yesterday. Our G-Son Avery got a part in a local play in 2011:
The layout came about from a sketch challenge over at Stick it Down blog. This is the sketch:

I think I followed it pretty well. A 2-page layout which I rather do :)
The left side on the layout is where I put the newspaper article about the play and the over page to the article has one of the scenes during one of the rehearsals
The interactive piece pulls out with a tab if you wanted to read the aricle. I thought that the bag was a better way to hold the article and the photos that are on top won't get near the newspaper then.
The right side also holds a pocket:
This pocket holds the booklet we got that night at the show.
The 2 photos here cover up the photos that were on the paper, the top photo is one of Avery when he seen the flier for the show and the bottom picture is Avery with his best friend and the story of how he got the part hast to do with her and I think her mother was part of the show and that is how Avery got the part. You just never know where your best friend will take you through your life :)
I placed 2 of the photos on the pocket and the 3rd one where they were taking a bow in the section off the striped paper like in the sketch. The blue scallop edging came from the Creative Memories Cheerful sticker pack (in the March kit :) and the cluster of stickers in place of the title. The triangles scattered around the 2 pages is from the sticker pack from last month's kit that is still hanging around.
The play themed stickers came from a Jolee's boutique Drama Theater sticker pack. Remember this moment is from the CTMH Florentine my stickease pack. The favorite snapshots and the journal card came from Elle's Studio cut-up pack. All the paper used and the washi tape came from my March kit. We enjoyed the show and one we won't ever forget. We went the 1st night and made sure we sat up front so we can see everything. We were so proud when Avery came out, he did a quick look about the audience and a quick smile came upon his face when he saw us, awww just melted my heart. He tried to give us a quick hand wave when it was over right before they took their bow. My husband said "Went out and got some culture tonight" Bless his heart hard to take the country boy to the city if you know what I mean :)

I have entered this into these challenges:
Stash A Thon Challenge #11 ~ Hats/Triangles (add triangles)
