Grandma layout for Counterfeit Kit Challenge #1

Good Morning and welcome :) The 1st challenge for Counterfeit Kit Challenge is here! for this month and Julene has challenged us for the 1st challenge of the month with:

The patterns and colours in this kit made me immediately think of my great grandmother, who always wore small dark floral dresses.
I’ve added some Liberty floral prints to the Pinterest page to maybe inspire you.

Your challenge is to scrap a page about a matriarch, past or present, in your family using a floral paper/theme.
Interesting challenge it is :) The 1st thing that came to mind was my Gram :) I remember here in floral house-dresses. She took care of us when we were young, while my parents worked. I remember being there during the week and I was blessed to have a cousin there too. Someone to play with :) So I found one photo of us together and use that to scrap and also the house that I remember Gram had before they moved in the trailer. Got a picture of the house thinking maybe 2013.

Started with the overall floral print I had in my kit and used the CTMH kit with it. Added the doily and used a doily punch too. The butterflies and buttons were in the kit but not liking the florals that I had in the kit I brought in ones that matched more with the paper.
Close up photos :) There is me with Gram I had to be about 4 years old.
The house she once had, I remember it well as my Aunt Marie lived there when Gram moved to the trailer.
Thanks for stopping by today and Can't wait to see what you create for this fun challenge over at Counterfeit Kit Challenge

  2. What beautiful memories and a beautiful layout Tina! I love the papers and embellishments your used, perfect for older photo's. The photo of you and your grandma is so sweet, I love it! I also love your Gram's house, especially that porch. I love older homes and this one is a beauty. Great job on this layout and I'm sure it was fun reliving those memories of being with your cousin and grandmother! Hugs, Brenda
