Hello July-Counterfeit Kit Challenge

Hi you all and welcome to my blog, yesterday was reveal day for the July Counterfeit Kit Challenge blog and talk about a Fabulous kit, super sweet I say:

The kit is from Noel Mignon's Balboa Kit is a beautiful mix of bright colors and Chalkboard accents. Wow and all those embellishments :) It was a fun day yesterday putting my kit together for the month, I was blessed with the day off so after the blog hop I went right to it putting it together.
So my kit Blue Skies and Raspberry Fields will be the kit I use for most of my regular scrapping and crafting (There maybe a smaller kit coming for my Big Picture class: Going Places (doing a vacation album). So I'll stop rambling and show you the kit, this is a very heavy photo post:
The cardstock:
I found a bluier teal in my green drawer and thought it matched pretty good with what they had. The yellow was pulled from last month's kit and the raspberry was in a kit of  pieces (all are in this month's kit) that was close to the taffy they had.
The pattern paper:
It was fun pulling all this together and I have to give props to Master Forger: Leslie G. for the way she does her kit post with the individual papers side by side it makes it so much easier to see the paper and choose what you want to use. So my choices came from many sources old and new. The 3 raspberry reds came from that kit I mentioned above, it's from the basic grey line. On the top row the 1st 3 pieces are from CTMH Workshop on the Go: Jubilee (so that whole kit is in this month's which comes with a cute stamp set, fun flair buttons, chipboard stickers and the silver and gold triangle studs ) and with that I got the new paper pack that CTMH gave out for the month of May(?) that was 5 buck with a certain amount purchase so that is where the gold dotted vellum paper came from. The blues all came from my blue drawer and a variety of the other paper came from various paper pads and past kits. The bottom right corner are papers I found while sorting through the bag of 12 X 12 alpha sheets I have, so in the kit they go.
Alphas:
The Washi's (who can only have one washi in a kit, just saying:) and the ribbon
The green washi was chosen because of the travel album I will be doing so I wanted to make sure that was in there.
Embellishents:
I will be using the same stamps I had picked out last month (really need to focus on getting the stamps on the papers :) will be stamping these wood veeners from SU
Enamel Dots I got for a prize from The Memory Nest that sponsored a prize during the Scrap Your Stash Birthday Bash :) Foundry pins (really not sure what I'm doing with those yet :) Flair buttons, Rubons, Labels, Some cutouts I got with a swap, the felt flowers from that raspberry kit and a couple other ones I found in my stash, an old tag I got a while back.
More rubons, variety of stickers flat and puffed up that I have gotten in swaps with journal spots/words. Variety of different word stickers and the Strike a Pose stamp set from 3 Twenty Crafts it has a Polaroid frame that I can stamp with to mimic what they have in the kit.
I pulled in 2 premade kits that I want to use the stickers in them for some layouts so those papers are available too and they seem to match the kit well also. Raw chipboard and a tag that I will make a tag similiar to what they have in the kit. Amy Tan's Remarks book of stickers: Good Times, October Afternoon Midway designer brads, and CTMH Midtown cork shapes.
This photo (sorry I think my camera battery was giving out at this point) has a collection of a variety of diecuts that I would like to use this month (butterflies, flowers, leaves and some word stuff) I also pulled Amy Tan's teal stamp that has various travel related stuff on it for that album. Brought in a Snap pad and 2 basicgrey pads: Hipster and Mint Julep.

That's it, that is my kit for the month. I do take liberty of pulling any other needed items from my stash so I can entertain myself with monthly challenges all over bloggy world and a new Yahoo group I joined :) I have some big plans for scrapping this month, but I also will be having company in too a small family reunion with our kids in from all over and with some of the garden work you may see hiccups of times when nothing is happening with the blog, but if you look in the side yard you just might see me picking Raspberries.

So you all have a fantastic July and if you do scrap you may want to look into Counterfeit Kit Blog to get you the things needed for scrapping each month it sure does make my scrapping so much easier most of the choices are made the only thing left is picking out the pictures and the sketches I want to use.
