These are some of the papers that I have chosen that will be cut down to fit the mini album, also the Timeless Type Stack from DCWV that has some fun papers for travel
I also pulled a few paper pads in various sizes for the albums:
I pulled the 2 8X8pads that I've had, seems like since I first started scrappin and want to get them worked through and out of my stash. The travel stack covers alot of themes so some of that maybe saved for other summer layouts. I pulled 3 6X6 pads that have something with Traveling, Trains (that is what one of the albums is about) and some fun colors and the 1 black paper pad will work for at least one section of the one album. Had to get the old smash pads out to help with the journaling.
Sorry for the lousy picture, my camera starts to lose battery power this is what happens and I usually don't know it till I get the pictures on the computer :) A specific travel stamp set and I have another one around here somewhere that I want to pull too. Lots of little die cuts and some specific 3X4 and 4X6 papers. I will be cutting more travel related die cuts with my cameo and cricut when needed.
More 3X4 and 4X6 papers that I thought was cute and a fun addition to the kit
Travel related stickers and some other stickers that are from past kits that I want to eliminate from my stash but should work really well with this.
These are my 2 main Albums that I will be working on the Orange snap 6X8 album will house our Steamtown day trip, I got this album on a cool sale at Michaels and I got the little extra that day too that you see in the picture, got them on sale also. The red 8X8 Making Memories travel album will house our Canandaigua, NY vacation in 2012 that was The Pageant of Steam it is a huge antique steam engine show. I will be using a travel Creative Chaos album (Michaels brand) I got a few years ago for our summer adventures I think it's time to actually get it out and use it. We don't have big plans this year for vacation, but a few day trips to check out some of our surrounding area (there is a museum that I would love to check out and we got the 75th Anniversary of Little League so I expect big things in our area for the celebration) and planned tractor shows.
These are the first ones to get scrapped. The whole stack is from our day trip to Steamtown National Park in PA it was just a day trip but so much fun and this isn't all the pictures that were taken but I think the best ones to show what we experienced. I know some of these will end up being in traditional layouts, but most will go into that orange album. I went through the pictures last night and got them organized by how we went about the complex that day and some of the memories that I remember from the trip. Excited to get started on this album :)
What are your plans for vacation this year? Will you be doing any past albums or any on going albums?
Awesome travel kit!! We just got back from San Francisco, so I will be scrapbooking that trip for the next few months. Can't wait to get some inspiration from your layouts!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see yours too :)
DeleteThat's quite a kit, good luck on getting your albums completed. I had to smile at the stack of orange envelopes - I have a stack I need to tackle too.
ReplyDeleteLovely collection for your travel albums. I really like how you use all the sizes of paper packs.

What a wealth of supplies you have to make your layouts from ....I will be looking forward to sharing your lovely trip and seeing how you incorporate all the stash items - (not to mention clear out some VOS!). Good for you at getting this task underway. TFS & Hugs. (also thanks for your good wishes for our anniversary too). Happy week ahead
ReplyDeleteCute kits and ideal for travelling photos.Looking forward to see what you produce.
ReplyDeleteHi Tina, you're so disciplined, putting kits together for your albums! I sometimes start like that, then I change my mind and end up doing something different. I have VERY few complete albums because I jump all over the place. I look forward to seeing how your trip album comes together.
