Good morning and welcome, Today's challenge over at Use Your Stuff is Challenge # 249 When the Cat's Away the Mice Will Play. Today we have a fun challenge for you....let loose your inner animal!
For this week's challenge we would like your project to have an animal
theme...it could be a layout of your pet, or a zoo trip, maybe a card
with an animal stamp or if you like mixed media maybe you have a stencil
or some paper that has animal print....any way you can incorporate
animal into your project will work...
A fun day roadtrip my husband and I took to Ithaca, NY. We crammed as
much as we could of the town in 5 hours. Definitely will be going back
up in the spring to see more. We got to See and Smell alot of things at the Ithaca Farmers Market by the waterfront, it was really cool to see the birds at the
waterfront. and thought that this layout was great for this challenge:
Fussy cutting some elements from the brochure we got for the layout

How Cute Are You?! for a Lasting Memories Scrapbook Layout Challenge
Good Afternoon you all :) I hope this Sunday has been a good day for you so far. I was up way to late scrapping this layout and then the old PC was being sluggish so I only got the layout up on the LM site and decided to blog it today. Yep April is the month that I'm looking at to get me a new laptop! So over this old PC but it works for what I need at the moment, just way to slow!
So this Month's challenge is being Hosted by Michele and here theme is:
ALL IN THE NAME OF LOVE!!
LM 329 - Use your STUFF - Use a product that starts with each letter of the word LOVE.
I used Layers, Orange, Vellum, Enamel Dots
That big Orange Striped star was in my "BASH"kit this month so I was glad to use that up on this layout and worked out perfect for my needed O in the word LOVE.
The cute title came from one of the stickers that I have from one of the sheets of stickers from the sticker challenge over in the FB group 100 Pattern Paper Challenge group. Lots of layers including that vellum layer.
Used some staples to hold down some of the elements of the layout. Enamel dots to finish off the letters of the word LOVE. This was a fun challenge
So this Month's challenge is being Hosted by Michele and here theme is:
The rest of the layout came from my current counterfeit kit: Glacially Toasted other than the vellum I used grabbed that from my vellum folder (I am just a wee bit organized when it comes to theme and specialty papers :) That folder is getting a bit light OMgosh I may have to go out shopping for more vellum! But for now I still have a few pieces to get met through for a bit of the spring scrapping.
I used the current sketch over at Let's Get Sketchy for my inspiration for my layout:
Using the star for the photo mat that they had in the sketch :) This was a fun and quick layout to put together with this sketch.
Fun grabbing the diecut and the acrylic tags from my kit and made the journaling card for part of one of the paper layers that would have been unseen. The cute title came from one of the stickers that I have from one of the sheets of stickers from the sticker challenge over in the FB group 100 Pattern Paper Challenge group. This picture of Zachary has been around for quite awhile and so glad to finally get it on a scrapbook page. It's fun to do the current photos, but it's fun to go back and see him at this size too :) Lots more photos of him and the other grandbabies that need to be scrapped yet, just not enough time in the week, retirement another 10 years away yet so do what I can for now. Just need to make sure I add the day and the story to the pictures now so they are not forgotten.
Thank you for stopping by today and seeing what I'm up too in my little corner of the world and I look forward to seeing what you all create with the letters L-O-V-E

Scrapbook Roulette
Hi you all, a quick post about this fun youtube stash series that will be taking place. So over at the Facebook group Bash Your Scrapbook Stash, the youtube share thread pops up and I see Katie Scott from Scrappy Sisters has added a video about the new series they were starting: Scrapbook Roulette. So I was a bit intrigued and had to check it out :) Going over to the video called Scrapbook Roulette - exciting using your stash series by Scrappy Sisters,
where you have a list of items they have 65. Sounds like it would be fun to play along :) and what is fun is everyone has their own list of items. You generate the number and match the number with the item. You use 5 items throughout the month and keep them handy to be used :) Hmmmm wonder how long it would take to come up with a list? Something to work through over the weekend so I could get started on the 1st of the month. Thinking I would like to use their list for a bit till I get one of my own wrote up :) But I wanted to pass this on to all of you incase you wanted to check it out and play along too.

Heart and Rose Bunny for a Funday Friday Challenge
Happy Friday to you :) Today is a Funday Friday design team A challenge over at Jo's Scrap Shack. Our sponsor for this week's challenge is Digital delights by Louby Loo and there were some fun digi stamps that the team got to play with this week. The challenge is Always Anything Goes, I decided to make my hubby's valentine card with this cute stamp:
I had created a layout for another project (You'll see that in February) and the card I created with some of the leftovers from that layout. I colored up the cute digi stamp with various markers and I also chalked the background so it wasn't so stark white. The red heart was a diecut I found in my basket so added that to the card too.
The inside of the card is ready for a little note of my love to my hubby :) for some odd reason my camera wouldn't focus on the inside of the card.
Thank you for stopping by today and I look forward to seeing what you create for this fun challenge.

Live & Play for CKC Jan Blog Hop
Hi you all and welcome. It is the January Blog Hop over at Counterfeit Kit Challenge Blog. You should have come here from Lisa's blog wonder what creative goodness she has done this month.
This month, you can choose to share any project you have made with your Counterfeit Kit Challenge kit which you have not shared on your blog yet. Your project could be related to any of the three challenges or maybe just something you made with your kit. As a reminder, here are the three challenges this month:
I used the sketch over at Let's Get Sketchy for my layout:
It was a fun fast sketch to use too. Some close ups of the layout:
I used my CKC Glacially Toasted kit for this masculine layout, the burlap paper was a nice touch to the layout as well as those fun die-cuts.
The journaling of the layout. Thank you for stopping by today. Now off you go and see what creative sweetness Kelly has crafted over at her blog.

40th Anniversary LO
Good Morning and welcome :) Today Over at Lasting Memories Scrapbook Challenge, Lori has challenged us to use a Tic Tac Toe board for our layout. It's been a fun month "Stash buster" challenge and a cool challenge to finish off this month's challenges. Here is my take on the challenge:
and the challenge is:
Pick a row - up and down, across, or diagonal, and use those 3 items on your layout.
I did the straight across the middle of the board: Enamel dots (hearts), polka dot paper (the paper that doily border punched), hearts (washi tape)
A picture of my husband and I at my sister in law's 40th Anniversary Surprise party for them. This will be a double page layout once I get the rest of the pictures developed of the party. The girls were taking pictures of the attendees as they were coming in. I used Martha Stewart's Doily Lace punch for the scallop borders. Also the purple paper made an excellent pocket to put the napkin in from the party. The title of the layout came from the invitation card we received about the party. I think I better get those other photos developed and get this double page layout completed :)
Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you join in with all the fun challenges this month over at Lasting Memories Scrapbook Challenge.

Feeling Blue for a Sketch N Scrap Card Sketch Challenge
Good Morning and welcome. Today I have a Sketch N Scrap #90 Card Sketch Challenge for you and a fun sketch too.
This is the Get Well Wishes card I made from the sketch:
The umbrella paper in my 6X6 paper pad that is in my current CKC kit:Glacially Toasted worked out great for this card as it's cold season I'll be ready to send out a card. The wood veneer mushrooms were in my "Bash"ket along with the daisy sticker border paper so the card came together very simply and very fast :)
Brought the front elements of the card into the inside for a quick note before I send it off :)

Dec Daily 2016 Title Page
Hi you all and look I finally got started on my 2016 Dec Daily :) I created my Title Page the other night before heading to work:
I used the acetate word sheet which I attached in spots with Scotch quick-dry adhesive, didn't leave any residue showing which was great :) I got some inspiration for my title page from Tori Bissell's youtube video on her Title Page. This girl has some great scrapping with scraps videos too :)
So I used the kit I created last month, fussy cutting the 12X12 background paper to keep the floral part of it and to still have some of the open part of the paper so the acetate paper really shows up all those fun words :) Words that are perfect for Christmas. I'll be uploading this to the Let's December Daily blog.
I'm debating on an doing a page on why I want to do the Dec Daily this year as I've seen a few of the girls doing this year and thinking just to go with it and start with Day 1. My goal this month was to get the pages done and still have time to accomplish it, but give myself time to create what I want with no hurry and do some in February too around any extra time I have that isn't being used for LOAD.
Thanks for stopping by and see you tomorrow with a scheduled post from Sketch N Scrap....

Tasty layout for Use Your Stuff challenge
Good Morning and welcome. Today I'm the hostess of this week's challenge over at Use Your Stuff. I am challenging you to get out those 6X6 paper pads and use at least
3 papers from the 6X6 paper pad and create with it! Lots of
inspiration out there on using it :) My layout was inspired by a
Shimelle sketch. Here is what I created:
The Shimelle sketch that I used for inspiration is #42 Repeating Simple Shapes:
perfect sketch to use up a few 6X6 papers.
I used 3 coordinating papers for Die Cut With a View's The Juniper Berry Stack for my design background on my layout. the 6X6 paper pad was included in my current counterfeit kit: Glacially Toasted I love to use 6X6 papers for layering on layouts and for card fronts too.
These pictures were taken on Memorial Day and posted on facebook. A cute set of pictures of Zachary at almost 11 Months. He's getting so big in these pictures :) I've been working on a stack of his old photos and it's been fun to reminisce that time a bit.
Close up of the photos.
Thank you for stopping by ans seeing what I'm creating and I hope to see your creations over at Use Your Stuff blog.

Happy Birthday for Sketches in Thyme Project Life Style
Good Morning once again :) If you are looking for the Sketch N Scrap layout you can find it here.
and if your looking for my Lasting Memories Scrapbook Challenge you can find it here.
This is the 3rd posting today, a very busy day indeed :) This one comes from the sketch challenge over at Sketches in Thyme Project Life Style and the card I made with the sketch:
and the sketch I used is Sketch #59 by the lovely and talented, Susanne Brauer.....
The spot of words was perfect place to use up some word stickers from my current CKC kit: Glacially Toasted also the tabs came from the box of diecuts I had in the kit and the card came from the Natural matstack. The birthday stickers come from 30-Sticker Challenge used up quite abit on the layout:
As you can see here on the layout :) I love how this all came together, I've had this picture of Zachary for quite awhile (he is 6 years old now) and this month I have been creating with some of his older pictures before I dive into his brother's 1st year book. So the combination of the sketch, the letter stickers from my CKC kit and the birthday stickers made a really cool layout :) I had a little help from The Memory Nest too as I used the current sketch for my overall layout:
A fun sketch for this fun layout :) lots of movement with this sketch.
I shifted the Title down to the bottle of the layout instead of the top to produce the diagonal flow of the layout. Those big letters were in my "Bash"kit for this month, trying to get through those old letters. Be playing scrabble tonight with the rest to come up with Title uses for the extra :)
Super cute picture of Zachary that Katherine posted on his birthday, he looks like his Dad in the picture, but he looks like his Mom too. He's really got the best of both of them within himself
The journaling for the layout I wrote a while back attached to the back of the picture with the day with a post-it note, something I need to get back to doing! it's way easier than searching for dates on facebook. Thank you for stopping by today and I wish you a fantastic day! Gotta run gotta finish up a layout for tomorrow's DT posting!
Hope you decide to play along this month over at Sketches in Thyme Project Life Style:

Simply Beautiful
Good Morning once again :) If you are looking for the Sketch N Scrap layout you can find it here.
This is the 2nd posting today, a very busy day for my Design Team projects seemed to fall on the same day this week!
Lori is the hostess this month over at Lasting Memories and this month is "Stash buster" challenge! This week's challenge is Ribbons, Washi Tapes and/or Paper Stripes. I Used both ribbon and paper stripes on my layout:
Ribbons for the bows and paper strips for the pennants and the journaling on the layout. The layout is from LOAD216: Day 29: Was a color prompt - German Flag: Which is Black/Red/Gold. I used the 3 colors throughout the layout with the addition of gold glitter hearts on the layout
This was at the Barton House at the Bloomsburg Fair in 2012. The fashions were just gorgeous of that era (1800s). What the women had to wear to carry those big dresses around wow unbelievable :) We've come a long way since then :)
Thank you for stopping by again and I will see you sometime again today....

1st Few Days a Sketch N Scrap Layout Challenge
Good Morning and Welcome :) I've got a few projects to share with you today, so best get started :)
This is my first sketch challenge with Sketch N Scrap as a design team member and I loved this sketch! I did put my own spin on it as most of you know how much I like to include photos on my layout! Heather has created this fun sketch #121:
This is what I created with this fun sketch:
Tristan's 1st few days at Preschool, the same school that Zachary had went to so he had been there before, but this was different now Mom was leaving him there. He handled it very well :) Great to see him enjoying the day. As the sketch had 2 landscape photo orientation, I only had the one and added the other 3 from that week to make up the other area of the landscape photo.
I used my current CKC kit: Glacially Toasted for the layout, glad to use that ribbon for the border element and the left over stapled on the tag I created from a PL card. The title was created with 3 Alphas and the fun school sticker elements scattered about the layout.
Closeups of the layout
Be sure to stop Sketch N Scrap to see what my DT sisters created with this fun layout, so much inspiration there :) I hope you'll join us this month, there is a fantastic prize offered up to play along :)
Thank you for stopping by today and I'll be back a little later with another fun project to share with you.....

This is my 2nd creation using the bash kit as well as my current counterfeit kit: Glacially Toasted for the cute blue paisley paper.

Family Fun for a Stick It Down Challenge
Good Morning :) Today my husband and I are off to the Farm Show in Harrisburg, PA, just an hour and half from our house. We go every few years to check out what is new and exciting! Myself I'm looking forward to getting out a bit the winter blues are setting in and always look forward to the food :)
Today is Stick It Down's January's Double Page Design Team reveal and this is what I created with the sketch:
Part of the things happening at the 2016 Campbell Family Reunion. The kids made the best out of a dreary day that started out great and ended up rainy, by this time it had been raining.
The double page sketch that we used:
I actually stayed pretty true to the sketch other than all the journaling.
The left side, I had opened up the mini page kit that was in my current counterfeit kit Glacially Toasted. I used the papers for matting the photos, making the border and for the punched circles for the scallop edges. These are the pictures of the younger cousins having a good time.
The frames that I used came from a package of Happy Mail I received years ago, I had added that envelope to my "Bash"ket a fun challenge that is taking place this year over at the Facebook group: Bash your Scrap.
I used some journaling word strips from the 3 Alpha sheets I have in my kit
I also hand wrote some journaling and the date.
Upclose photos of the layout
I loved the stickers that were in that mini kit to make the fun title to the layout. I look forward to seeing what you create from this fun sketch too and link it up over at Stick It Down challenge blog. Have a fantastic day!
