A Star Birthday Card-CCChallenge #25

Hi you all and welcome to the 1st crafty project of the New Year :) We're doing the Creative Cutting Challenge #25 today-For the Boys. I chose to do a quick Birthday Card for our Son's Birthday in Feb.

I used Creative Pointe’s Patriotic Set for the stars on the card.

No matter what size you make the stars they cut exceptionally well (now if I can get a handle on my Cameo for blade depth I would have some sweet cuts)
The inspiration of this card came from the Poppy Paperie blog

I have a variety of the stars on the front and as you can see I popped up the middle star

and I brought a few of the stars into the inside of the card also.

Papers: Various ones from my stash of Cardstock
Stamps:  The front sentiment: Above Rubies Studios, the inside sentiment came from 2 stamp sets from CTMH: Laughing Lola Cardmaking Workshop (D1565) & Card Chatter-Birthday (D1475)
Inks: Tim Holtz Distress 'Broken China' (used for a bit of inking on the edges), Brilliance pearlescent Sky Blue, and SU Brocade Blue.

I enjoyed making this card, thanks for stopping by and seeing what's going on in my little corner of this world. Stop by Creative Cutting Challenge we would love for you to play along with us.
This is also part of my Counterfeit Kit Challenge as I used the blue cardstock and the black starry paper from the kit-fit perfect for the theme of the kit and the theme of the card
