Hello again :) This layout came about from LOAD 24 a Tuesday and that was the day for Design Principles. The prompt was the old pop up/interactive books (do you remember those? I sure do!) We wer to use something that you can lift or pop something up. Since this was a weekday I went for ease and popped the title pennant up on my layout:
I used the sketch at Let's Get Sketchy for the layout:
Albert took his oldest 3 kids to a Pirates game this past summer and PNC Park. I try to keep most of the layout in the color theme of the Pirates team colors. My papers, enamel dots and some of the sticker elements came from my current counterfeit kit .
I used a variety of stickers throughout the layout even a 3 dimensional one so more pop up added to the layout. I like using the bingo card for one of the large circles in the sketch
Added another scallop edge circle for the journaling. A fun layout for a fun day. Hoping to make a 2nd page to this with more pictures from the game that day. Thanks for stopping by....

Dave Was in a Mood
Good Evening, yep ended up working today so trying to finish up posting the layouts for challenges for the month. this layout came about from LOAD day 20. It was a Friday and that was topic Sentence or Subject. We were to use the starting sentence to the book "Judy Moody" (Judy Moody was in a mood. Not a good mood. A bad Mood.) We were to do BLANK was in a mood. A BLANK mood. and we were to fill in the blanks. I chose:
Dave was in a Mood. A cutting mood.:
I totally had fun putting this layout together, when I found the perfect sketch to use for it:
The sketch is from My Scraps & More sketches #100
DAVE was in one of the oldest Alphas I had and so glad I included it this month on my counterfeit kit. The kraft paper background was a scrap from almost a year ago I found and put ti to good use. The blue polka dot came from the current kit. I also used basic grey alphas and Mood was from an Alpha I've been trying to use up. the teal polka dot I actually got out a pair of those old scissors with the edges and cut the edge to give it the texture.
Both tags came from studio 112 journal tags pad and used one for the journaling. the star is from jellibean soup pack and both brads on by the journal tag and the one on the top left corner of the layout is from Making Memories 5th Avenue (jumbo pebble brads) the star circle chipboard diecut came from a smash pack of items
the Live simply is from CTMH sticker pack, the blue star and the handle with care boht came from jellibean soup pack.
The Oliver tractor was the first tractor Dave owned and it was used quite a bit on the property, since these pictures the tractor was sold to a friend that gave it to another friend for him to pull (tractor pulling is huge in our area)
Thanks for stopping by......

Behind the Scenes FFC#77
Good Morning and welcome to another Funday Friday Challenge over at Jo's Scrap Shack! This challenge we have 2 sponsors: Fitztown and Bugaboo and the theme is Anything Goes! So no reason not to join in on the challenge :) Here is the layout I did:
I used Fitztown's digital stamp from their sports collection: Sports 13:
I colored him up with SU chalks. It's fun to get the chalks out once in awhile gives the stamp a softer look to it.
I also used ta sketch for my layout over at Scrapbook Challenges this was sketch #429:
This was a fun sketch to use on the layout, I added an extra photo and used the journaling spot for the stamp spot on the layout and shifted the journaling over.
This layout came about from LOAD Day 26 which was a color prompt from the book Madeline which was Blue, Yellow and White, so I kept most of the layout based on those colors the glove I colored brown suede but I think that was it for an odd color from the prompt.
I used sequins in place of the stars in the sketch in blues and yellow. The papers came from my current kit and the Royal Blue glitter thickers came from last month's kit. The journaling spot is an index card punched with my SU circle punch.
Looks like Astacia was having fun, yep that girl has the Campbell gene too if you stopped by yesterday you'll understand what I mean, I explained a bit of that in another layout. Thanks for stopping by today :)

LIL' Man
Yep this is the final one for today, Saturday I'll catch up on the rest of the layouts for all the challenges, thanks for sticking with me :) This was yesterday's LOAD prompt layout. The theme for Wednesday is Word Play and she took the prompt from the book Piggy & Jarold, using Dialogue for your journaling, a conversation on your layout. (You haven't see the first one I did like this for another prompt) So I went on search for another conversation and found one I had with Andrea on Jan 2:
So the inspiration of the speech bubbles came from the video from Lain for the day's prompt, but the layout came from the sketch over at Scrap Our Stash with a color palette that we had to use at least 3 of the colors from:
So I used the greens, reds, blues and creams from the color palette added the journaling blocks to the left hand side of the sketch that was open. The rest of the layout matches the sketch pretty darn close.
The cream color background paper came from the DCWV Linen Closet paper pad which came from my current kit along with the red pattern papers. The green and the blues came from my stash. I found these fun speech bubbles sitting in an old counterfeit kit the other night and pulled them out to be used and by george! I got the perfect opportunity to use them. They made a fun addition to this layout.
The picture of Andrea and Avery is very current taken with in the past week, the other photo was from the 1st day of school this year. Used some SU stars and hearts sequins.
Closer look of the journaling blocks, a really fun layout. The conversation was about Avery's height and how the Campbell gene is taking over amongst most of the grandkids, just a couple didn't seem to get it. It'll be fun to see how the Great Grandkids make out. Avery is becoming more and more like his Dad so we'll have to wait and see how tall he does get :) Thanks a bunch and wish you all a fantastic day today....

Thankful
This is from Day19 of LOAD215, it was a Thursday and that is a color prompt day, which came from the book Harold and the Purple Crayon. so the colors were white, black, purple and blue. I think this has to be the first layout I've done with a white cardstock background:
These 2 ladies are my Daughter In Laws :) Love them both! and it was fitting to fin this fun picture of them during the holidays for this layout. I used a sketch over at Stuck on U sketches the Feb 13th sketch:
This was a perfect sketch for this picture :)
I found this fun little journaling block that was in blue from: tea at Elsie's die cut elements, the blue doily came from the jillibean soup: irish farmhouse soup die cuts
The buttons and the white doily came from last month's counterfeit kit
The Favorite Photo and arrow came from the jillibean soup: irish farmhouse soup die cuts
and so did the thankful card. I used a variety of purples and blues with some washi tape here and there. Thanks for stopping by....

Enjoyin Christmas Presents
Hi again :) Gonna be a busy blogging day today to get all the challenges up and posted :) This layout is Day 16 of LOAD215, it was Monday: Family Favorites and the prompt was to link up holidays with books, holiday celebrations or a book that talks about the holidays. You need to make a connection of the holiday with the book so this was my connection:
We got a few books for Christmas, Dave got 2 and I got 1 and as you can see Dave is already enjoying one of his books.
I used the sketch at Sketch N Scrap for this layout:
Sketch #75
The fun corner spot was already there on the paper, I just added more snowflake sequins, papers ad the fun cardstock word art.
Journaling
Closeup of the pictures
and a closeup of the bottom corner elements. I used paper from Dec counterfeit kit and the red striped circles came from the current kit. Love that I was able to pull off a current Christmas layout for this prompt. Thanks for stopping by, see you soon :)

Talking Pennsylvanian
Good Morning! This layout came about from Day15 of LOAD215. The day was a sunday which is Your Story theme and the prompt was Favorite Family Quotes that come from books. well I had no strong memories of that, but I do remember the slang that was used by the family back then. My mom was strong Pennsylvania Dutch so I heard a few of these growing up. This fun list I got off the internet and it makes me laugh cause it is so true!
I used Sketch #427 over at Scrapbook Challenges
This was a perfect sketch with all that journaling spots :) I used washi tape for the border sewing lines. So this layout also fits the challenge over at Scrap Our Stash: Stash Challenge: WASHI
W: washi tape, wood veneers, A: Alphas, Arrow S: Sticker (tab label for the scrapped date), H: hearts, I: Inked edges
Some closer views of the layout.
I used my current counterfeit kit and some embellishments from some older kits too
This layout was a blast to do!
Yes! I did catch my mistake on the original layout the next day of my spelling and here is the corrected layout. Thanks a bunch and watch out cause another layout blog post is on the way :)

Don't Let the Weeds Win
Hello ! Today was a bit warmer, right now I'm looking at 13 degrees :) I've got some catching up to do and I've used lots of challenge sketches this month for my layouts so best start getting them blogged. This layout came about from Day13 of LOAD215: The theme is Topic Sentence or Subject. The prompt was:Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus! so we were to turn it into: Don't Let (Blank Blank....) so hence my title: Don't Let the Weeds Win.
I used the sketch for Twistback Thursday over at Sketch N Scrap the Twist is to include a pet or animal on the layout. So I found this fun set of pictures of the garden with a cute picture of our dog Buddy :) This is the sketch:
I brought in another photo for the background paper behind the 2 photos.
The 3 pictures are from this past summer :)
Here is how I placed the extra photo for like a paper mat. These are various flowers around our back yard. I added a flower pot dimensional sticker from Jolee's boutique Gardening pack. the blue corners came from tea at Elsie's die cut elements (so did the blue flower sticker by the jouraling block). Added some pink sparkles from an Alpha set.
The lettering for the title came from Recollections Simply Pastel stickers. The papers came from my current counterfeit kit and the journal block came from the SS Home Spun collection.
I just love the colors of this layout, just makes you think of spring :) Have a fantastic day today....

You Are One Of A KInd with a February 2015 CKC Blog Hop
Welcome to the February 2015 Counterfeit Kit Challenge Blog Member Blog Hop, so happy your here to join us. With a fun layout about one of Buddy's quirks :) If you are coming from the amazing Jemma's blog then your right on track.
The challenges this month are:
I've already done Challenge #1 so decide to do challenge #3 for the hop. This is from LOAD11 the theme was word play and the prompt was Rhymes. Thank goodness for google cause it made it easy to do a Rhyme off of Buddy's name for my layout. I did a 2 page layout and used the sticker on the right hand side for my title. This side also included my rhyme and the date of the pictures.
I used papers from my current kit and from the Echo Park Mini "Woof" collection. Cute set of Doggie paper and stickers. The brown background paper came from SEI "Windsor" Paper pad
The paw paper came from the Modern Tails Collection paper pack I received in a swap. The variety of stickers on the layout came from the Echo Park collection, Authentique 'Genuine Collection' and the Reminisce Dog sticker sheet.the ribbon border was in my dog stash and that is all used up :) The metal tag from the pebbles Tags collection was also used up :) 2 packages out of my stash :)
This side has all the same papers, cut up journal spot and more stickers from the Authentique 'Genuine Collection'. When I had done the layout I used a sketch from Let's Scrap:
as the sketch says I did make a flap but I have not had a chance to add the story yet about the day
Behind that green diagonal stripe paper is the flap, I added washi tape to hold it down on both sides.
The rhyme I wrote.
Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of the hop :) Next off to see what amazing project Lisa has done.
