Cooking Fun for a Lasting Memories Challenge

Good Morning to you :) We start out with a very chilly morning here in PA, woke up to 31 degrees, so not ready for these types of temps. Today we have a new challenge over at Lasting Memories for the Hot Hot Hot month :) /the challenge today is a Hot Meal and we had to use Washi Tape. Easy enough :)
We enjoy having homemade pizza at our house, so I came across these pictures for the challenge. Added 2 different washis to the layout and LOAD provided me the perfect sketch for the final mix! A Hot Meat layout. This was a blast putting together and looking through my stash for the fun cooking papers (thank goodness for Iris boxes :) I knew that I had a foodie washi and seen that old smash washi to add for our pleasure for the pizza.
LOAD16 Porthole: I used the Product/technique: Use a frame part of the challenge and the sketch:

The sketch is from Citrus Twist Sunday sketches Oct 4 looks like a fun place to get some inspiration with sketches :) I used 3 photos and added my journaling to a tag behind the center picture
To bring in more of the pink from the washi tape I used this scrap and off white color cardstock for my jurnaling. The frame around the middle picture is from a past counterfeit kit that I have yet to put away.
The bottom corner spot holds my title work and the word strips from the paper and from a sticker sheet. Spritz of dylusions melted chocolate ink spray from the current kit and some stars and enamil dots from the fun LOAD kit I made this past Sunday.
I brought up alot of the same stuff the bottom left corner to the top right corner with a couple additions o hearts from SN@P sticker collection that was in a past counterfeit kit.
The journaling card goes in just far enough that it sticks out to tell of the name of our pizza that my husband named. Thanks for stopping by today and I hope to see your Hot Meal with Washi Tape technique posted in the link at Lasting Memories. After creating the layout we ended up having pizza Saturday night for supper talk about inspiration :)
For anybody that is interested in the recipe:
The recipe is pretty simple :) We get our pizza shells from the local bakery, we use our own canned pizza sauce (sauce that we make over the winter on our cook stove it simmers for 2 days before we can it) Toppings are usually: Pepperoni, sausage, Anaheim peppers, mushrooms and black olives. We add at-least 2 kinds of cheeses, sometimes 3: Parmesan and Mozzarella/Provolone (1 of these 2 take center stage depending on what's available) and sometimes cheddar. YUMMY! we never have leftovers longer than 24 hours :)
