October Counterfeit Kit Challenge Blog Hop

Hello and Good Morning. Today is the Counterfeit Kit Challenge Blog October blog hop and you should have come to my blog from Lisa's blog :) So excited to go and see what Lisa has done, but I'm excited to go and see what all the members have done. So if you are just now joining the hop you may want to go to Counterfeit Kit Challenge Blog to start at the beginning of the hop. The challenges this month are:
Challenge #1: YOUR NEXT MOVE: Do a project sharing what your next move in life is.  What is a goal?  What is a dream?  What would you like to do if you could?
Challenge #2: 3-D Project.  Let's all get out of our comfort zones.  No cards, layouts or mini albums.
Challenge #3: One Thing: You may use paper, photos and only ONE other thing on your project (like mist or stamping or one type of embellishment).

I already did Challenge #1 so I thought I would tackle Challenge #2, especially since I found this fun box in a kit package to be put together and decorated. I will have to get out to Michaels and see about getting more and making one for each of the grandkids for Halloween this year.
After putting the box together, then it was a matter of cutting the paper to size and apply it to the box:
I used my current kit of cardstock and some scraps of pattern paper that I used earlier in the month on anther project to cover the box.
I used washi tape to enclose all the sides of the box and some on the lid
I then decorated the box with cut outs, dazzles and stickers.
A very fun project and something that I think may just carry onto Christmas for some special gift giving :)
Thanks for stopping by today and now your off to see what the fascinating Julene has for you she always fascinates me with what she makes :)
The blog hop order just incase you get lost :)

  7. What a great box! And the grandkids will surely have such fun opening them for all the goodies. I love the idea of taking the time to make these kind of items - I should do more of that!
